Your commitment and dedication to the field and the agency have a tremendous impact on the people we support and their families. Whether it is in one of the agency's group homes, prevocational programs, vocational programs, respite services or through support coordination, your efforts make so many lives that much better. That is why we do what we do. Thank you!"

Community providers support people with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD) with a broad array of services from building skills in the home, such as eating, dressing, and personal hygiene, to career planning and employment supports to find and maintain jobs. These community-based services are funded almost exclusively through Medicaid. Congressional leaders are discussing proposals that could significantly reduce Medicaid funding. These cuts would have devastating consequences for people with I/DD. Take action today against proposed Medicaid cuts: ancor.org/amplifier.

The people we support enjoyed a fun bowling night out! All of the houses got to mingle with one another and some got to see each other for the first time in a while! Everyone had a blast bowling the night away!

NIPD/NJ celebrated it's annual staff appreciate day this past Friday. This important day each year recognizes all of the hard work our staff do each and every day with the people we support! This year's theme was Hollywood and staff enjoyed time spent with one another and a day filled with prizes, games, and food!
In short, Thank you for all you do!!
