Did you know the flu shot has been given in the US since the 1960’s?
If your child hates shots they can still get protected from the flu. Flu mist is for anyone age 2- 49 who is otherwise healthy (and whose pediatricians agree it’s okay).
"Is it worth getting a night nanny if I'm breastfeeding?" Yes. A night nanny handles all newborn care except feeding, giving breastfeeding parents 2–3 more hours of sleep per night. They support lactation, prep and clean pump parts, store milk and bring baby to you or use pumped milk as your supply grows. As baby becomes more alert around week six, your caregiver is already there to handle overnight wake-ups so you can truly rest.
Because breastfeeding parents deserve real support, not exhaustion.

Since 2010, our Nurses and Newborn Caregivers that have been providing nurturing care to newborns and evidence based education to their families.
Our teams are located in Washington DC, Loudoun County, Maryland, Philadelphia, Las Vegas, South Florida and Northern NJ. We're franchising nationwide because our goal is to revolutionize the way American families bring home their babies. Early care and intervention means healthier families and saves lives.
We have been recognized for our Best Practices in Newborn and Postpartum Care by the White House Summit for Working Families, the US Chamber and interviews and contributions to national and local news. We’ve also so grateful for our family testimonials.
After seeing the tremendous impact overnight care has on families, we started our 501c3 Mission Sleep to provide free care to military and first responder families whose babies arrive when a parent is deployed, wounded or deceased.
If you’re a new or expecting parent, you can take our newborn care classes online for free here: https://newborncareacademy.teachable.com This is the same curriculum that has been awarded a government contract through Fairfax County, and that we use to teach child care organizations.
