Did you know your heart has a "mini brain"? They have been doing extensive research. This sounds fishy and it is. The study is being done using zebrafish. They feel it could help lead to new research for dementia, Parkinson's or arrhythmias.

As a heart supplement, I take CoQ10 100 mgs. daily. Since it aids in energy production throughout the body, it is most concentrated in the heart. It's been used in the treatment of congestive heart failure in the hospital in mega doses.

Children’s’ Intake Of Ultraprocessed Foods Tied To Higher Risk Of Cardiometabolic Problems In Adulthood, Study Finds
CNN (5/17) reported, “The ultraprocessed foods your kids eat now may be putting them a greater risk for cardiometabolic problems – like heart attack, stroke and diabetes – in adulthood, a new study suggests.” Published in JAMA Network Open, “children who consumed the most ultraprocessed foods were more likely to have risk factors like a higher body mass index, systolic blood pressure and waist-to-height ratio, the study showed.”

The use of hair-straightening products containing glyoxylic acid is associated with a risk for acute kidney failure because of the accumulation of calcium oxalate crystals in the kidneys. The observation was made by a team of French researchers who tested the suspected straightening product on animals. The product is believed to be the cause of several episodes of renal damage in a young woman.
