At The Motherhood Center we have experienced a 43% increase in call volume, and a recent Canadian Study mentioned in the times that the rates of anxiety in pregnant and postpartum women have increased from 29% to 72% and the rates of depression have increased from 15% to 40%.
Today - reach out to a new or expecting mom that you know and ask, "Are you OK?" In the words of Meghan Markel – “Not many people have asked me if I’m OK.” This simple question can mean so much. Tag her below & ask her, because sometimes what she needs is someone to give her permission to share her story and ask for help.
