Hello everyone! We want to share with our families that our wonderful Nurse Practitioner, Chelsea Peters, will be leaving our practice in mid-September. Chelsea has made the heartfelt decision to move closer to her family.

During her time here, Chelsea has cared for so many of our patients with compassion and dedication, and she will be deeply missed by our staff and families alike. She extends her very best wishes to all of our patients and their families as she begins this new chapter.

Out of respect for her privacy, Chelsea’s new job location will remain undisclosed, but we know she will continue to touch lives wherever she goes. 💙

Please note a temporary change to our schedule this week 7/14-7/18:

🕓 We will be closing at 4:00 PM (instead of 5:00 PM) each day.

📅 Thursday only: We will be opening at 11:00 AM (instead of 8:00 AM). Our after-hours walk-in urgent care will still be available as usual on Thursday evening.

Hello everyone!
We have received feedback regarding our late night/urgent care walk-in hours and are making some changes per your requests and for your convenience!

Here is a reminder and update regarding our late night/urgent care hours:

URGENT CARE WALK-IN: Tuesdays & Thursdays 5 PM - 6 PM
LATE NIGHT APPOINTMENTS: Tuesdays & Thursdays 6 PM - 7 PM

REMINDERS:
-We offer Urgent Care for one hour on Tuesdays & Thursdays from 5-6 PM for our established patients.
-We offer Late Night well visit/sports physical appointments from 6-7 PM for our established patients.

UPDATES:
-We are now allowing SCHEDULED sick visit appointments during the urgent care and late night hours (5-7 PM) on Tuesdays and Thursdays. **Due to this, we have less room for walk-ins. It is first come-first serve, as we now only have 4 walk-ins available during this time. You can call and schedule ahead for these urgent care sick appointments.**
-Established patient well visits/sports physicals can only be scheduled 6-7 PM.

This is to ensure we can see the most amount of patients possible and also work around your busy schedule for those who cannot take off school, work, daycare, etc. 😀

Hi Sunshine families!

Sunshine Pediatrics is closely monitoring the weather situation associated with Hurricane Milton and its possible impact on our office. Our main concern will be the safety of our employees but, as always, our next greatest concern is being able to support our patients! If needed, we are ready to implement our Hurricane Preparedness Plan to try and minimize any disruption in service. We are closed Wednesday and Thursday as of now, and may need to close Friday depending on power outages and road conditions. Should the path or intensity of the storm change and impact our practice, we will do our best to get everything up and working as soon as possible. We apologize in advance for any inconvenience and ask for your patience if our response time is delayed or absent during this time.

The on-call provider line should still be accessible as long as the practice has power. If the phone lines are not working, please call 911 for emergencies.

For those of you who might be directly impacted by this storm or have family/friends who would be impacted, we wish all of you a safe next few days.

Due to the weather conditions, we will be rescheduling our New Parent Night to Monday, October 14th, 2024 at 5:30pm.

We are also cancelling tomorrow's urgent care walk-in, so our staff can get home and have time to prepare.

You can contact our on-call provider during this time or utilize urgent cares/emergency rooms if needed.
