Last week, our Business Development team and Director of Nursing had the opportunity to visit Sandy Pines Hospital and connect with their incredible leadership team, including their Senior Outreach Liaison, Case Management and Admissions team and CEO.
We were grateful for the time spent learning more about their adolescent programming and educational offerings, and for the meaningful conversations centered around one shared mission, supporting teens and their families during one of the most vulnerable times in their lives.
For years, La Amistad Behavioral Health Services and Sandy Pines have worked alongside one another to ensure adolescents are connected to the right level of care at the right time. Collaboration like this strengthens access, continuity and outcomes for families throughout Martin County and beyond.
We’re thankful to be a trusted resource within the community, and even enjoyed a little sightseeing while we were in town. 🦃🌴

Envisioning the Year Ahead in Recovery
Creativity and community filled the room at our annual La Amistad Alumni Vision Board Event, graciously hosted by our friends at Recovery Connections of Central Florida.
Our alumni came together to reflect on how far they’ve come and to intentionally envision what this next chapter of recovery can hold. Through vision boards and conversation, they explored goals, dreams, growth and the evolving journey of healing.
Recovery isn’t just about where you’ve been, it’s about where you’re going. At La Amistad, we’re honored to continue walking alongside our alumni as their lives change, expand and strengthen year after year.
If you’re a La Amistad Behavioral Health alum, we would love for you to reconnect! Reach out to learn more about upcoming alumni events, ways to stay connected and how you can continue to grow within our recovery community.
