Did you know some foods can actively help to lower your cholesterol, not just keep you healthy? Including a variety of these heart-friendly foods every day can make a real difference. The more you add them to your diet, the more they can help lower your cholesterol, especially if you also cut down on saturated fats.

❤️ Foods rich in unsaturated fats
Olive, sunflower, corn, rapeseed, nut and seed oils, avocados, nuts, seeds, vegetable-oil spreads, and oily fish.

🥦 Fruit & vegetables
High in fibre — and some types help block cholesterol absorption from the gut into the bloodstream. Try beans, peas, lentils, sweet potatoes, aubergine, broccoli, apples, strawberries, and prunes.
