But you can fiesta like there is no mañana by putting a heart healthy spin on your Cinco de Mayo dishes. With a few smart swaps, you can enjoy all your favorite treats....

🎉 It’s simply never Cinco de Mayo without guacamole. Avocados are high in fat, but it’s the heart-healthy monounsaturated kind 🙌 It's also packed with folate, vitamins E & C
🎉 Store-bought chips can be full of highly-refined oils and sodium. Create your own healthier version by making tortilla chips at home
🎉 Try grilled, not fried, fish tacos on fresh whole grain corn tortillas with chopped tomatoes and lettuce or kale
🎉 Pick black beans over fat-filled refried beans
🎉 Top entrees with salsa instead of sour cream or heavy cheese
