We would like everyone to welcome our new co-worker at the Dragon’s Den, Sarah Menzies!

Sarah comes to us with experience in holistic practices and inclusive systems. Raised by herbalist and botanist parents, she has been immersed in plant-based healing and alternative education since childhood. Her background includes yoga, birth and death doula work, and working with Maui non-profit organizations. She is passionate about creating systems that empower people to live in alignment with nature. We feel very grateful to have her coming aboard! 🐉

Postpartum Sitz Bath🌿🌿🌿.

The word “sitz” is a German word meaning “to sit”, and a sitz bath is a warm, shallow water infused with healing herbs or salts that you sit in to cleanse and sooth the perineal area of the body.

This is one of our in house blends gently formulated for our new mamas 💚

Sitz baths after birth are useful for relieving pain, reducing swelling, and preventing infections.

Red alaea salt, like most salts, has been traditionally used to season and preserve food. Its mesmerizing color, bold flavor, and signature taste profile make it a favorite of countless chefs around the world.

The gorgeous deep red color is created through natural evaporation while trapped in tidal pools and mixed with red volcanic clay. This salt is said to contain up to 80 different naturally occurring minerals.

When used in soaps, baths, or scrubs it will add a reddish hue. The red color comes from the extremely high amount of iron in the clay.

Red alaea salt has a mellow flavor that goes well with all kinds of dishes. It is gaining popularity as a topping for chocolate desserts and ice cream as well!
