It is with a heavy heart that our beloved friend Shirley Coffman has passed. Shirley has been a part of the Cedar Lake family for over 25 years. She worked as a CNA and then transitioned into a med aide. Shirley was kind to everyone she met and loved the residents she cared for. It was a privilege to work alongside you. Your kindness and dedication left a lasting impression on everyone who knew you. Cedar Lake will not be the same without you. We love and will miss you bird❤️

We are thrilled to celebrate the incredible progress and determination of Ms. Davis, who has successfully completed her Occupational and Physical Therapy programs here at Cedar Lake!

When Ms. Davis arrived, she faced several challenges impacting her mobility and independence. But through hard work, dedication, and a positive attitude, she made remarkable strides in her recovery. With the support of her therapy team, Ms. Davis regained strength, balance, and confidence in her daily activities.

She consistently showed up ready to push herself, never backing down from a challenge. Whether it was walking longer distances, improving self-care, or mastering safety with transfers, Ms. Davis exceeded expectations every step of the way.

Today, we proudly celebrate her discharge back home—stronger, more independent, and full of hope. It has been an honor to be part of her journey, and we know her future is just as bright as her spirit.
