To our patients and parents,

We have great news to share with you.

We have hired a pediatric nurse practitioner, Lauren Marchetti, APRN. She will be functioning as a primary care provider (P*P), seeing children for both sick and well visits. She will be able to refill prescriptions and answering calls for advice, etc. She is energetic and compassionate with patients. Some of you may already have met her during our interview process, and you will be seeing her more as she will come to get oriented to our practice in the next month. She will be working 5 days a week. We hope that with her addition to our practice we will be able to serve our patients more efficiently and reduce the waiting period for patients to get an appointment.

We do recommend that patients show up 10 minutes ahead of the scheduled visits in order to update your contact information and insurance information. For well visits, there are also screening questionnaires on child development, mental health, and healthcare needs to complete before the visit. All of these can also be done ahead of the visit via MyChart, the patient portal to your medical record.

We encourage all our patients/families to have access to MyChart, as you would be able to receive email messages such as this one from our office, as well as reminders for appointments, and you would be able to send messages to us about non-urgent concerns. For questions that need to be answered within 24 hours, you should call.

Enjoy the summer. Please use a sun screen as needed if you are going to be in the sun longer than 30 minutes. Get in the shade if you cannot use the sunscreen for some reason.
