We had a very special visitor last week—Ivan the Alpaca from Harvard Alpaca Ranch The whole community came together to welcome him, and it was such a great moment seeing everyone smiling and enjoying his visit. We were so happy to have him, we didn’t want him to leave!

This evening, our residents and directors came together to hand-roll homemade meatballs, which were served for dinner with spaghetti! 🍝❤️ A fun, delicious day filled with teamwork and great company.

Yesterday was extra special at Forestdale Park as we celebrated not only Linda’s 80th birthday, but also honored her with a Lifetime Achievement Award! 🎉

Congratulations, Linda! We are so lucky to have you as part of our Forestdale family. Celebrating you was easy because of the truly kind, inspiring, and wonderful woman you are. This recognition is so well deserved.

Our Director of Community Relations, Emily, shared a beautiful presentation with us all about the celebration of Passover. She loves celebrating this meaningful holiday and was excited to share her traditions with our community.

She even prepared delicious kosher snacks for everyone to try, including charoset, chocolate-covered matzo, cream cheese matzo, coconut macarons, and grape juice — and they were a big hit!

Thank you, Emily, for teaching us about Passover and helping us gain a deeper appreciation for Jewish culture. ✡️💙

Grab Your Passport is Italy this month, so that means a Cannoli Filling Demonstration from our Director of Dining Experience Nick! Thank you Nick for teaching us how to fill a cannoli, we especially enjoyed eating them! 🇮🇹
