Sometimes the hardest part of showing up isn't the run—it’s the feeling that you don’t belong.
I’ve seen it too many times: walkers lingering in the back, slow runners apologizing for their pace, people scanning the crowd wondering if they’re “runner” enough to be here.
Let’s name it: that’s imposter syndrome. And it shows up way too often in the running (and walking!) community.
Here’s the truth: your pace doesn’t determine your worth. You don’t need a sub-10 minute mile, a fancy watch, or the latest race tee to take up space. You’re allowed to be here exactly as you are. Moving your body is enough.
This is why I started . To create a space where slow isn’t a slur, and where all paces are celebrated. Because the courage to start, to keep going, and to show up again? That’s the real victory.
If you’ve ever felt like you weren’t fast enough, fit enough, or “runner” enough—this community is for you.
You belong here. I promise.
