We are collecting essentials for the hero firefighters and first responders to help them manage their environmental exposure.

Please bring chapsticks/lip balm, preservative free eye drops, throat lozenges or hard candies, and sunscreen to Malibu Urgent Care. We will distribute these to the first responders arriving at our clinic for care, and to their command centers.

Malibu Urgent Care is keeping our kids safe!

Although extremely rare, sudden cardiac arrest (SCA) is a frightening event that may occur in otherwise healthy athletes without any prior symptoms. A traditional sports physical examination can miss certain cardiac abnormalities that predispose an athlete to SCA, and that can only be detected through an EKG or cardiac ECHO.

Malibu Urgent Care’s free cardiac screening program includes an EKG and ultrasounds of the heart (echocardiogram) performed by professional sonographers. This screening is part of our new community initiative focused on the health of our young athletes.

Screening continues tomorrow Sunday, August 11th so call 310-456-7551 and let’s get your kids screened!
