Tama-Do ("The Way of the Soul") Academy, created in 1988 by Fabien Maman, the founding father of vibrational sound therapy (Websters’ Dictionary), is dedicated to the evolution of Human Consciousness through research, teachings and creative self-expression. With a summer base in Europe and a Sound Garden in Malibu, California, we offer courses in non-invasive techniques using Sound Healing, Color Therapy and Qi Gong Movement® and Seasonal Harmonizing Concerts® to ground the Soul in daily life. Our Tama-Do Practitioner Certification Program, taught by Fabien Maman and Tama-Do Senior Instructor Terres Unsoeld, offers certification in Sound Healing, Color Therapy and Qi Gong Movement Therapy. Our Way of the Soul Master Classes (weekend courses) are for those with limited time, who wish to further expand their consciousness through physical, spiritual and cosmic exploration. These are taught in all over Europe including the UK as well as USA & Canada. And our Shamanic Journeys of the Soul, created by Faery/Shaman Terres Unsoeld, offer Sacred Druidic initiations in the heart of Nature, to re-Source our Selves through Group and Self exploration. Fabien Maman, the Master Guide of Tama-Do, is a musician, composer, acupuncturist, researcher, healer, teacher, bio-energetician and martial artist. In 1977 he became an acupuncturist, creating the now famous system which uses tuning forks instead of needles on acupuncture command points. In the early 80’s, Fabien Maman conducted a revolutionary sound/cellular biology experiment showing for the first time under the microscope, the impacts of acoustic sound on human cells and their energy fields. His findings, documented in spectacularly beautiful slides, changed the landscape of Sound Healing as we know it today. Fabien Maman believes that “blockages in our subtle energy fields can result in physical illness if they are allowed to crystallize, and Sound Healing, Color Therapy, Qi Gong Movement Therapy and Seasonal Harmonizing Concerts® are the most effective tools we can use to dissolve these negative energetic patterns. For nearly 30 years, Fabien Maman has created research and practical applications to balance the body, mind and spirit through the subtle energy fields. Divinely inspired, yet grounded in the Classical traditions of Music Theory, Mathematics, Chinese Medicine, Aikido, Kototama and Astrology, Maman has created more than 30 techniques through his Academy, each of which, took nearly seven years to test and apply.
