The Saratoga Hospital Center for Breast Care is celebrating 10 years of dedicated service! Since 2015, it has expanded to include two breast surgeons, Dr. Patricia Kennedy and Dr. Jennifer Bayron, along with a team of advanced practice providers and nurse navigators. The Center offers comprehensive services such as breast cancer evaluation, risk assessment, long-term follow-up, and patient support through diagnosis and recovery. Specializations include oncoplastic surgery and ultrasound-guided procedures. In the past year, the Center welcomed 270 new cancer patients, highlighting its vital role in early detection and care. After working as a travel nurse across various states, she found her home at Saratoga Hospital, drawn by its strong community, staff kindness, and commitment to safe nurse-to-patient ratios. Impressed by the support for nurses, she chose to stay permanently. Now, on the night shift, Abigail finds fulfillment in caring for patients, especially in hospice, and feels empowered in her role.
