After nearly two decades of dedicated leadership, we extend our heartfelt thanks and warmest wishes to Jack Lynch, FACHE, President and CEO of Main Line Health, as he retires from his role with the System. Jack will remain at Main Line Health through June 30 to support Ed Jimenez, incoming President and CEO, with a smooth and seamless transition.

During his tenure, Jack spearheaded significant clinical and operational transformation. He led efforts to create a stronger, unified System by consolidating services, fostering interdisciplinary collaboration and elevating standards of care. Under his guidance, Main Line Health consistently earned top marks for patient safety and quality, gaining national recognition for excellence.

While the milestones reached under Jack’s leadership are a testament to his visionary leadership, he has always been the first to say they are not his alone — they are the direct result of the unwavering dedication of Main Line Health’s colleagues, medical staff, volunteers and extended community of supporters.

During we're celebrating our incredible creative arts therapists. Our patients benefit every day from this dedicated team.

🎨 Art therapy can be used for a variety of purposes, including improving cognitive and sensorimotor functions, coping with an injury or diagnosis, facilitating communication, increasing motivation for recovery and improving self-esteem.

🎶 Music Therapy can include music engagement to support physical activity, playing instruments to improve fine motor coordination, improving cognitive and sensorimotor functions and promote social emotional goals such as managing anxiety and depression.

🎭 Drama therapy is the intentional use of drama and/or theater processes to achieve therapeutic goals. Drama therapy is an embodied practice that is active and experiential. This approach can provide the context for participants to tell their stories, set goals and solve problems, express feelings, or achieve catharsis.

It was a full house at Bryn Mawr Rehab Hospital last week as we welcomed Foundation Board member, Kareem Rosser for a fireside chat and book signing event celebrating the release of his new memoir, "When You're Ready," with Jessica Kartalija from 6abc as the moderator!

Special thanks to Kareem for joining us and for his generosity in establishing the Lee Lee Jones Patient Assistance Endowment Fund at Bryn Mawr Rehab Hospital, to which all event proceeds were directed.

Bryn Mawr Rehabilitation Hospital welcomed Pennsylvania State Senator Carolyn Comitta and Pennsylvania State Rep. Melissa Shusterman last week for a tour of the facility.

They were joined by Rose Plumari, VP and Executive Director of Bryn Mawr Rehab Hospital, Shannon Royer, Dr. David Horwich, Sharon Strohecker, Nick Cairns and Chris Lambert, to discuss current healthcare topics.

We are excited to announce that Bryn Mawr Hospital, Paoli Hospital and Bryn Mawr Rehab Hospital have each earned the prestigious Pathway to Excellence designation from the American Nurses Credentialing Center. This recognition underscores the hospitals’ commitment to creating positive practice environments where nurses thrive and deliver exceptional patient care.

“This is a remarkable achievement for Bryn Mawr Hospital, Paoli Hospital and Bryn Mawr Rehab Hospital, and a testament to the dedication and professionalism of our nursing teams,” said Elizabeth (Betty) Craig, DNP, RN, FACHE, Senior Vice President and Chief Nursing Officer of Main Line Health. “The Pathway to Excellence designation reflects our unwavering commitment to fostering a culture of excellence in nursing practice, which ultimately translates to better outcomes for our patients.”

Lankenau Medical Center, Riddle Hospital and HomeCare & Hospice are also on the journey to achieve Pathway designation. Those facilities will learn by mid-2025 if they have earned designation.
