HAVE A HAPPY THANKSGIVING EVERYONE.
Closing at 4 today, and will re-open Monday 8am. So no calls, texts or emails till Monday as we I need this time to prepare for the annual “TOYS for KIDS Christmas Party” December 19th. Let’s all pitch in as always for this Community event, a one of a kind “CHRISTMAS BLOCK PARTY” exemplifying why Mamaroneck is nicknamed “the Friendly Village”.

So many who have celebrated the Holiday Season at this party have said they felt a sense of Joy and Happiness bringing back memories of this time of year remembering it truly being the “Most Wonderful Time of The Year”, something we all have to remind ourselves of today as life has become more hectic. At our TOY for KIDS Christmas Party this year I’m honoring my devoted right hand best friend, office manager/medical assistant Mrs Nancy Fanelli “MS” who we all love and without whom I could not practice. She has been a Saint to us all in many ways, giving up practically all of her free time volunteering & going out of her way not only to help me keep my patients healthy but also supervising so many community outreach programs that she & I have done together for years (notably the volunteer time Nancy puts in on work that enhances the quality of life in our Community like St. Rita’s Free Medical Clinic and this Christmas Party.
And I also honor my other best friend who I miss so much, especially this time of year, Nat Picco the man, GOAT🙏❤️🙏 RIP, I miss you brother. Nat always, like his father before him and now his son, Nat Jr. have always freshly painted and decorated our building for all to enjoy every Christmas. TOYS for KIDS also honors Mrs Vicky Picco & the entire Picco family this year, all of whom are like family to me and for all of us, always doing much more at their own expense for all of us to enjoy especially during the Holiday season each year. All who live in the area have passed my building this time of year so magically light up by Nat Picco. As one of America’s Finest, our Policemen, pointed out to me one year, telling me to turn around as we were directing traffic “Look, Kevin., the building looks like one of the stores you see along 5th Avenue in Manhattan”. Well with Christmas music playing loudly and people walking past the building viewing twelve Santa’s waving from all windows upstairs and down, a forest of Christmas Trees all lit up behind them, the building all dressed up with wreaths and lights lit, my friend, Officer George, was right, it did and does look like a store that belongs along 5th Avenue at Christmas Time largely thanks to the Picco Family.
As we always felt in times past our Police and Firemen who risk their lives every day to keep us safe join us all at this celebration making all feel happy and safe at this “Community Holiday Christmas Street Party” ONE OF A KIND each year. So come all yee who want to experience something happy and joyful this tear, all joined together as one in the spirit of the holidays along with town workers, neighbors. our government workers, schools organizations and often some of our elected and appointed officials, showing all just why we call Mamaroneck, the FRIENDLY VILLAGE, now proudly showing off one of the most beautiful waterfronts you’ve ever seen along the entire East Coast since reconstruction took place this year opening up what I’m sure will put Mamaroneck on the map as one of the most beautiful places to visit and so close
to Manhattan, one of the most beautiful places to live. For opening up that spectacular view as you arrive at the Harbor I’ve decided next year if all agree to return to doing THE TOYS FOR KIDS CHRISTMAS PARTY ON A SATURDAY DURING THE DAYTIME FOR ALL TO ENJOY SEEING THIS GORGEOUS TOWN IN DAYLIGHT. And many more children and families in need are able to make it when I hold this event during the daytime on a weekend rather than during the week. Nay or Yay? Anyway

The New York State Assembly this week honored Dr. Maloney in recognition of all he has done for the community with a reminder in a citation presented to him, that each and every year, December 18 is Dr Kevin Maloney day in Westchester County New York where his office is located, just outside of New York City. In addition, The New York State Senate, also this week presented Dr. Maloney with a proclamation commending him for
developing and implementing a treatment protocol during the COVID-19 pandemic stating and that by doing so, he saved countless thousands of lives during the COVID-19 pandemic. He was also commended for working
24/7 tirelessly working for two years without taking any time whatsoever off during the pandemic to protect us all. This past week Dr. Maloney was again honored by the Chamber of Commerce of Mamaroneck with commendations given to him for stopping New York State’s plans to start mass Covid testing inside of Vans, something Dr Maloney explained to the state would increase exposure and spread of the COVID-19 virus to more Individuals. Dr. Maloney contacted the Governor, health commissioner and homeland security, Using contacts he had made in the past when he played a major roles during national disasters and terrorist attacks in New York State. He convinced the Governor and homeland security to change plans for mass testing of COVID-19 during the pandemic that the state had in place and were about to implement. by sending out vans for people to enter to get tested. Dr. Maloney came up with a plan himself to protect us all, a plan which he convinced the state to adopt, at Dr. Maloney‘s specific detailed directions.
Dr. Maloney was credited this week for devising and implementing New York State’s drive-through Covid 19 testing sites throughout New York, duplicated elsewhere throughout the pandemic. Dr. Maloney uses his experience as a physician who at the beginning of his career ran the emergency room at a major trauma center in New York, later on continuing to work with Homeland, security, Hazmat, DMAT, FEMA AND THE RED CROSS, during the 911 terrorist attacks and subsequent national disasters setting up and taking charge of shelters in New York City and doing the same when needed in Mamaroneck.
Dr. Maloney today is preparing for his TOYS for KIDS Annual Christmas party for children in need to be held at his office tomorrow night at 7 PM.

I have informed Senator Shelley Mayer and Assemblyman Steven Otis that Dr. Maloney will personally be thanking them to all of his 50,000 followers on social media after he is finished with tomorrow’s Christmas party; thanking them for commendations they presented him with on behalf of New York State's Congress.. Dr. Maloney respects both the Senator and Congressman for all they do for the constituents they both represent in the state of New York. Dr. Maloney will personally explain to you why you should support them as soon as he is finished holding his Christmas party for these families in need he helps every year this time of year, or after he gets to spend some time with his family during the Holidays.

I can personally tell you having assisted him with this party for over 25 years amongst all the other community outreach programs Dr. Maloney has implemented and run for the community, just how much of his free time he devotes to help us all and most of all his time spent protecting our health.

So again, in honor of Dr Kevin Maloney day, today, December 18, a day named for him every year, for all that he does for all of us, I know it would be his wish for anyone in the position of purchasing a toy to do so and drop it off on mail it to his office,

DEC 19th this year. Lowes & Home Depot have all their Christmas decorations out so it's not too early to talk about TOYS for KIDS (not toys for tots). WE WE MUST COLLECT TOYS ALL YEAR LONG FOR DR MALONEY'S ANNUAL HOLIDAY PARTY, " TOYS for KIDS" organization (he founded) FOR NEEDY CHILDREN AND FAMILIES. THIS ANNUAL EVENT HAS GROWN TO ENORMOUS PROPORTIONS BY WORD OF MOUTH THROUGH THE YEARS. THIS VIDEO GIVES YOU AN IDEA OF WHAT A WONDERFUL EVENT THIS PARTY IS FOR SO MANY CHILGREN AND THEIR FAMILIES EVERY DECEMBER (the 19th 7PM this year). Unlike the terrific organization Toys for tots, we are not a huge operation but a community event in New York that has become well known and attended by thousands of kids of all ages whose families are often not able to send letters to Santa on time for their children to wake up Christmas morning to open gifts left by Santa. So, FOR THESE CHILDREN THIS IS THEIR CHRISTMAS. And for anyone who wants to but finds it hard to "BELEIVE" just come and join us outside Dr. Maloney's office this year to be immersed in the spirit and joy of the Holidays. It might just make you a believer. Just watch our videos,, children dancing, music playing, Santa's helpers dressed in Holiday Style in the air THERE TRULY IS THE "SPIRIT" OF CHRISTMAS. ALL ARE WELCOME, children AND adults. Toys can be dropped off or mailed (all donations are tax deductible). Toys you donate are handed out to needy children from the New York Metropolitan area who, for anyone doubting needy, they stand out in the cold on line for hours along with their families but with joy as THEY TOO here get to experience the joy of Christmas. Dr. Maloney and all his followers volunteer their time doing this and receive no pay whatsoever. This is not toys for tots.
