The atrocious behavior of those running our healthcare system could not be more evident by censoring doctors during the COVID-19 pandemic and our healthcare influencers giving out the wrong advice about treating Covid-19 infections especially the advice given not to use prednisone that now turns out admittedly to be wrong (All explained in this article below if anybody cares to read it. Prednisone has been approved to treat, most notably stated, even the severest of COVID-19 infections.
YES Prednisone (steroids) are finally being recognized as being valuable to treat even the most serious cases of COVID-19 infections, even valuable in treating Covid pneumonias amongst other viral pneumonias including Mycoplasma Pneumonia.
I don’t understand why more doctors don’t speak up like I do. It’s our responsibility to make sure that we do everything possible in accordance with the hypocrratic oath to safeguard your health.
i’ll keep doing what I do, regardless of the threats and retaliation I’ve been the recipient of by those who don’t like what I report. If you read this article I recently wrote on LinkedIn, a free networking website, you’ll see that persistingin contacting our healthcare influences about the value of using prednisone to treat respiratory illnesses paid off. During the pandemic I, always stated whenever I wrote anything about treating Covid. Patients - “This is just opinion”publishing how I treated my Covid infected patients successfully, using prednisone, saving lives, paying no attention to all warnings against prescribing it. Everyone should know this change in our Healthcare System. When you go to an ER or Hospital you're asked who your P*P is & you think they are going to notify us (your doctor), IT'S A LAW FOR THEM TO DO SO AND MOST TIMES THEY DON'T. ESPECIALLY
Montefiore Health System, Montefiore New Rochelle Hospital and
White Plains Hospital (WPH) (NEVER!!). Greenwich Hospital does (the Doctors at Yale New Haven Health Hospitals are excellent in making sure that your P*P is made aware of all your medical issues and are happy to have your P*P (me) participate in your care. during your Hospital Stay or ER visit. (& all should know, I never charge for following my patients while hospitalized.

I've had to ask the Admin, at Montefiore to make sure they follow laws to notify P*Ps so many times, again this past week, by my wife an Attorney to Dr. Philip O. Ozuah, President and CEO, Montefiore informing him of the hospital's legal responsibilities without response, so I'll notify oversight this week- it's time he's fined, especially since I just typed in his name to get the correct spelling and saw this, what New York State Nurses Association posted about this Doctor in charge of a tax exempt "NON-PROFIT" that's functions primarily using your taxes (Government funds), HIS SALARY THEY POSTED IS 45 THOUSAND DOLLARS A DAY!!! 16.7 Million a year the nurses posted he gets. HOLY.....!!! How are you're property taxes in Westchester County N.Y. these days? You're paying for his salary. And New York State is saying there's no fraud or waste now as the State is being investigated for Healthcare Fraud. Sorry, just venting, Had I known healthcare was headed towards just becoming BIG BUSNESS I WOULD HAVE DISCOURAGED MY 3 SONS WHO BECAME DOCTORS FROM DOING SO. This world is going backwards & we're F'd if we don't do something. English as a second language may have placed the Hispanic population at a disadvantage in terms of being able to navigate a complicated system with regards to applying for citizenship, many of whom in my experience treating the Hispanic or Latino population as I speak fluent Spanish. Many of these individuals have been qualified to apply for an obtain citizenship legally but delayed in doing so due to a language barrier that could have been prevented had we not taught English as a second language, something we only did to the Hispanic population believing it would help them when in hindsight it may have held them back in not only being able to navigate the immigration process, but also in preventing them from achieving more desirable employment opportunities in addition to furthering their education as English as a second language is offered only in high schools here in the US and certainly not in colleges & post graduate programs. So one must look at making the official language of the US now English as something beneficial for the Hispanic population, with possible methods in place to correct an inequity that was done with good intentions, but again, now in hindsight may not have been to the benefit of this population.
Many Hispanics who qualify to obtain legal citizenship here in the U.S. now fear being deported when in fact they just delayed by no-fault of their own in obtaining legal status because we did not force them to learn English, allowing them to retain Spanish as their primary language here in the US.. I believe it just to give these individuals some consideration, which is why those who qualify but have applied late in the process of attaining legal citizenship are being given a letter from me with my phone number to be called for their protection, stating that they have initiated the process and & have passed a physical exam done by me, a USCIS certified civil surgeon, documenting that they are free from communicable diseases and pose no health danger to the public. Again, these are hardworking individuals who have paid taxes, been living here for years in the US, raising and educating their children just like the rest of us, but unlike the majority of us, were put at a disadvantage by not being forced to become fluent in the English language, again, declaring Spanish to be their primary language.

Green card Immigration application Form I-693 AND APPEAL PROCESS FOR ANYONE FEARING DEPORTATION
answering questions we are getting phone calls for about regular green card physicals and those worried about being deported . First- the general application that everybody has to do- a physical exam to protect your health and the health of others. (For anybody worried about being deported there is a special appeals process we explain below)
1-the physical exam; everybody has to do one. The cost is $250 for both children and adults (Cheaper than anywhere else we've seen). We Provide you with two copies of the 14 pages we fill out for you form I-693, one in a sealed envelope that you mail to Immigration services or give to your lawyer if you're using one and a complete copy for you to look at and keep. If you do your Immigration physical now before handing in any paperwork it is good for life. We arrange for you to get any vaccine you need for free
if you have no insurance or if your insurance does not pay for vaccine we also get them no charge to you. Immigration exams are done Monday through Saturday 10 AM to 8 PM no appointment needed just bring photo ID (drivers license or passport for example). We do a required blood test in our office testing for any vaccines needed if you haven't had all the vaccines required. If you have insurance we will give you a receipt to cover all your costs (the blood test and the exam to hand into your insurance company. If you don't have insurance we have an arrangement for you to get a discount on a bill you will later receive from the lab we send your blood to. The general cost is about $100 from the lab but varies depending upon what you need.
We've made arrangements to provide you with the lowest cost for this green card application medical exam.
NOW FOR ANYONE FEARING DEPORTATION. There are many who are living here without any criminal history who are contributing to society who can submit an appeal Requesting permission to remain in the United States and apply for citizenship. After doing a physical exam with us we will Instruct you as to the appeals process.
Dr. Maloney has been an advocate for many individuals especially in the Latino and Hispanic communities who have been at a disadvantage in keeping up with rules and regulations because of language barriers. Our government although done with good intentions, made English as a second language for the Hispanic population amongst others offering English courses as a second language to even adult immigrants. I was Dr. Maloney has written he studied Latin for three years in high school and could never speak even one sentence of it. He also stated that he took three years of Spanish in college and afterwards could only ask "where the library is" "donde esta la biblioteca?", something I'm sure many can relate to.
On the other hand before transferring back to Albert Einstein Medical school for his last two years of medical school, he started medical school in Guadalajara Mexico and was forced to learn Spanish as his primary language there. In Mexico, Spanish was not offered as a second language to Dr. Maloney as he has explained and for that reason he was forced to learn to speak Spanish fluently .
Not doing the same thing here for adults immigrating to the United States has been a mistake, and has caused many to not be able to understand the green card application process, for which there is appeal application. This will be provided to those worried about being deported including a letter of protection to hold stating that you are going through the process of applying for your citizenship legally. this letter given to you had Dr. Maloney's name and phone number on it asking anybody questioning your Legal status to call Dr. Maloney. Dr. Maloney is an advocate for all in this position, all good law abiding residents who have been living here and contributing to society, working raising families educating them etc..
Dr. Maloney has been an advocate for those In need for many years, and has received many awards for doing so including amigo award and the Martin Luther King award. He continues to help those in need.

POST COVID TIME WARP: A lot of my patients are experiencing it, myself included; the shut down during Covid, working remotely, climate change, Halloween decorations out early August at Lowe's..., In the past I would occasionally think what day of the week it was. Now, like many, I find myself at times thinking what time of year it is.
