These days life sure seems uncertain.
If you find yourself doing things to escape "reality," you are not alone, but please find healthy ways to do it. Healthy ways to calm your nervous system include:
✅️ Take a deep breath and exhale completely sounding "huh" 3-5x
✅️ Sing! Singing along to music has been shown to release stress and increase the flow of endorphins and serotonin.
✅️Tone "OM" in the lowest pitch and feel the calm begin or attend a sound healing event.The body's energy centers are sensitive to sound frequencies. You can also get the same effect from humming.
✅️Laugh! Watch shows that lift you up and make you laugh or just start laughing with friends and watch how contagious it is
✅️ Sip Kava Kava or chamomile tea to relax
✅️ Eat healthy foods keeps you healthy. Overstuffing yourself will create dis-ease.
✅️ Choose less caffeine and more water.
✅️Dance! Move your body however feels good and the stress will dissolve while the blood flows to remove the toxins.
✅️Meditate- even 5 min/day can be helpful

Something magical happens when you connect with others in a meaningful way. This lovely lady, Diane Spellman Grimes joined me at the last minute at this charity event as my +1. I was glad to bring her some joy and have a "date" while celebrating the work of an I Matter graduate. It was a beautiful night and a meant to be moment!
