In the last 48 hours, Stafford EMS has been alerted to 40 calls for service. As of late, several have been higher in acuity. Not only have our members simultaneously staffed several ambulances throughout both days, additionally members of the Special Operations Team deployed our Fire Rehab Unit during two separate incidents today. Not only are we extremely grateful to our dedicated team of medical professionals, but also to the men and women who complete the 911 chain. Our dispatchers, advanced life support paramedics, police, firefighters, and even the bystanders who immediately identify the need for emergency services, all play a crucial role in the chain of survival . While summer is slowly fading, the call volume remains increasing — but our compassion to our patients safety and well-being remains the same.

Thank you to all who continue to uphold this mission day in and day out.

Annual Stuff the Bus Event

Earlier this afternoon, members from multiple agencies gathered at Applebee’s of Manahawkin for the Annual Stuff the Bus event, organized by store manager Adam Bard.

Adam began this tradition several years ago as a way to give back to the community by supporting the Barnegat, Little Egg Harbor, and Stafford Township School Districts with school supplies that can be distributed to families in need.

Stafford EMS has proudly participated since the very first event, and each year it continues to grow with more agencies joining in to help.

This year’s attending agencies included:
• Burlington County K9 Search & Rescue
• Point Boro EMS
• Barnegat EMS
• Great Bay Regional EMS
• Barnegat Light EMS
• Parkertown Fire Company
• West Tuckerton Fire Company
• Stafford EMS

Additionally, we would like to thank the following agencies who made generous donations:
• Lavalette EMS
• Sea Isle Volunteer Ambulance Corps
-Family Dollar Store in Little Egg Harbor

A huge thank you goes out to every agency and individual who helped make this event a success. Our communities are truly fortunate to have so many dedicated people willing to step up and support those in need.

And finally, thank you to Applebee’s of Manahawkin for once again providing lunch to all of the First Responders who attended.

Please Read!! Stay out of water!!

Dangerous conditions along the Jersey Shore and Delaware Beaches this week as ocean conditions worsen. This is due to prolonged onshore winds, building seas and also increasing swell energy from distant Hurricane Erin. Stay safe as the ocean water is very powerful.

Today was a truly wonderful day for our squad!
Memphis and MiKenna worked their magic once again, serving up their famous lemonade with big smiles and even bigger hearts. These two little heroes raised over $5,000 for the squad! Their hard work, determination, and dedication are nothing short of inspiring.

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who came out to support their efforts. We’d also like to give a special thank you to the Stafford Township Police Department and the Stafford Township Volunteer Fire Company for joining us and showing their support.

We are beyond grateful to be part of such an incredible and supportive community! 💛🍋🚑
