April is Stress Awareness Month, and it’s a great time to take a closer look at how stress is really showing up in our lives.
Most people think of stress as something that lives in the mind, but the body tells the story too.
Tight shoulders, tension headaches, poor sleep, low energy, digestive changes, and that constant feeling of being “on edge”…these are all ways your body responds when stress sticks around too long.
Over time, that physical tension can begin to affect posture, movement, and even how well your nervous system functions.
The good news is, your body also has an incredible ability to reset and recover when given the right support.
Simple habits like movement, breathing, rest, and proper spinal alignment can all help your body shift out of that stress response and back into a more balanced state.
This month is a reminder to check in with yourself, not just mentally, but physically too.
How is your body handling stress?
