Some holiday leftover tips from the Diva Dietitian 🥧

After being away for a week (and still didn’t go grocery shopping) I’m heavily relying on on freezer & pantry cleanout for this Sunday’s meal prep.

I always keep proteins like chicken breast, ground beef & salmon in the freezer and defrost as needed depending on my meals (the slow cooker is a great way to cook chicken from frozen) and as you can see all my veggies were frozen. While I typically prefer fresh veggies, frozen veggies are convenient & readily available, packed with just as much nutrition as fresh, and can taste just as delicious when prepped the right way.

The high protein buffalo chicken dip cooks low and slow using 3 simple ingredients, and can be paired with a carb of choice to make a balanced meal (chips, wraps, etc.).

These balanced meals have carbs, protein, and healthy fats — and of course, fiber 🫘
