It was another GREAT Thankful Thursday, and "Back-to-School " was the chosen theme. 👍 All employees showed up with anticipation for the 3 school backpacks waiting to be raffled off! The parents & grandparents among the staff were present, tickets in hand. Three winners were drawn from nursing, food & service and housekeeping departments. A staff member with a big smile said she couldn't wait for the surprise at the next Thankful Thursday.

Today was an exceptionally great day for an outdoor cookout! Bright blue skies and a cool, balmy wind! As a collective (early) "goodbye" to the summer, everybody showed up to celebrate- our residents, their family members, and the staff who made everyone feel welcome. A special "shout out to our Administrator, Mr. Cohen, whose planning (& approval) made all this possible. And a round of applause for our Dietary Department for the great food, our Nursing Department, who ensured everyone was OK, and the Maintenance Department, whose efforts made the grounds & spaces pretty enough to have this event. May the coming weeks bring fair weather, and we all expectantly look forward to other exciting events forthcoming. ☀️🍔🌭
