Charity of the month - February. February is National Cancer Awareness Month and our club is going to fundraise for a great local charity that helps women going through cancer.

Mary’s Place by the Sea was founded in 2009 with the compassionate belief that women with cancer need a place to go and be surrounded by love and understanding.

Steps from the sea, Mary’s Place has welcomed 16,000 women through its doors – each treated with compassion and care that meets their individual needs and allows them to connect with other women who share their journey.

Women with a cancer diagnosis have the opportunity to step away from their treatment and experience free, supportive services that nourish the mind, body, and soul. Serving women primarily in and around New Jersey, but open to women across the country, Mary’s Place offers overnight stays for up to eight guests at a time, and day visits for women within driving distance of the home. Follow-on services like support groups and counseling are also available. A suite of virtual services is also available to women with cancer at any point during and after treatment.

Spring fling 2025 “Smile real big for the group photo, and we’ll get you a surprise!”
..We didn’t say the surprise wouldn’t be from the sky! A little rain turned into a lot of laughs — puddle jumping: the unofficial afterparty of Spring Fling. 🌸🌦️👟💦

A big thank you to all the amazing families who came out and helped make Spring Fling so special! From sunshine smiles to surprise showers, it was a day full of fun, laughter, and muddy shoes.

We had such a fun time packing up birthday boxes for The Village Foster Closet of Holmdel we hope this puts a smile on the kids who receive these boxes (and their foster parents). Thank you for accepting our donations !

This month’s charity is a fun one! 🎂 🍰 🧁 🎉 🎁 🎈. For the month of February, we are putting together birthday boxes for foster families at the Village of Point Pleasant and The Village of Holmdel. These boxes will consist of some simple ingredients to make a birthday cake and celebrate a child’s special day. Visit our page for a link to a Google Sheet to sign up for ingredients you will purchase. OR you can also make a monetary donation which will be used towards purchasing items for these birthday boxes. If you do purchase items on the Google sheet, you can drop them off at designated drop off spots below OR bring them to the birthday box packing party which will be sometime in March.
