This exciting alignment brought three community hospitals, a network of primary and specialty medical practices and outpatient centers, a medical staff of more than 850 physicians representing 60 specialties and sub-specialties, and approximately 2,500 team members, providing high-quality care to the communities of Culpeper and Northern Virginia.

Happy UVA Health Week! 💙🧡

We kicked off the week at Prince William Medical Center with our Department Education booths, and it was amazing to see so many teams come together to learn, connect, and celebrate the people behind the care.

From clinical teams to support services, team members had the chance to meet colleagues from across UVA Community Health, learn more about the departments and resources that keep our hospitals and offices running each day, and celebrate the impact every team makes on our patients and community.

We’re so excited for the rest of this week’s activities and more opportunities to celebrate the incredible people who make UVA Community Health what it is. 🎉

Three medical centers. Three ‘A’ grades. 💙

We’re proud to share that all three UVA Community Health medical centers earned an ‘A’ Hospital Safety Grade from The Leapfrog Group.

Shoutout to the teams at UVA Health Culpeper Medical Center, UVA Health Haymarket Medical Center, and UVA Health Prince William Medical Center for the work they put in every day to keep patient safety at the center of everything they do.

This recognition is a reflection of the people behind the care and the commitment our teams bring to patients, families, and each other every day. We’re incredibly proud to celebrate this achievement across all three hospitals. 👏

I scream, you scream, we all scream for…. NURSES! And ice cream of course. 🍦

Our Nurses Week ice cream social was a fun chance to slow down for a few minutes, spend time together, and celebrate the incredible nurses who care for our patients and support our teams every day.

Thank you to our nurses for the compassion, teamwork, and heart you bring to our community.

Behind every future caregiver is someone who helped them take that first step.

We had the opportunity to sit down with Paula Kinnard, who created and leads the CNA program at Osbourn High School. From hands-on learning to real patient care skills, she shares what this program truly looks like for students and how it prepares them for a future in healthcare.

These students spend a semester contributing to the care we provide and making a difference in the lives of our teams and patients every day. We are so proud to congratulate the class of 2026 on their graduation and thankful to have been a part of their healthcare journey!

We had such an amazing day with the Osbourn High School CNA students today celebrating their graduation!

These students have worked alongside our hospital teams learning about each specialty, gaining hands-on experience, and growing their skill set to build the future of the medical field. Today our leadership sat down with them to talk about the next steps in their professional journey, what UVA Community Health culture means to us, and performed on-site interviews across each specialty.

We are so proud of this group and excited for the bright futures ahead! 🧡💙
