For all my horse lovers!!! I've never met anyone who cares more about animals than Stephanie, and I've worked with A LOT of people who care about horses and animals.
Check out her brand new book to learn more about helping your horse thrive. 🐴🐴🐴
I need to tell you a story.
A few years ago, a woman called me about her horse. She was crying before she finished the first sentence.
She'd spent over $14,000 in vet bills in a single year. Scoped him. Scanned him. X-rayed him. Blood panels every eight weeks. Three different barns.
Nobody could tell her what was wrong.
"He's just a hard keeper."
"Some horses are like that."
"Maybe it's behavioral."
Her horse was lethargic. Muscle-sore. Dull coat. Crumbling hooves. Spooky under saddle when he used to be bombproof. She told me she was one bad vet bill away from giving up — not because she didn't love him, but because she thought she was failing him.
I asked her one question nobody had asked in three years of diagnostics:
"What are you feeding him?"
When she read me the ingredient list on his feed, I closed my eyes. Soy. Corn. Molasses. Lignin sulfonate. Iron oxide. Vegetable oil. Synthetic vitamin E. Copper oxide — a form so poorly absorbed the horse may as well have been eating gravel.
She was feeding him the problem. Every single day. Twice a day. And nobody told her. Not because they were bad people — because nobody taught them to look.
We pulled every commercial product out of his diet. Started with quality forage. Added minerals matched to HIS body through Hair Tissue Mineral Analysis. Whole food fats. Celtic sea salt. Clean water. Simple. Species-appropriate. What his body was actually designed to eat.
Sixty days later, her horse — the one she was ready to give up on — cantering across the pasture with his tail flagged, coat gleaming, calling to her at the gate.
She was crying again. Different tears this time.
That horse didn't need another drug. He didn't need a more expensive supplement. He didn't need a sixth opinion.
He needed someone to understand how his body actually works.
That is why I wrote this book.
Not for veterinarians, although vets are reading it. Not for practitioners, although practitioners are using it. I wrote it for HER. For every owner who has ever stood in a barn aisle at midnight, Googling symptoms, wondering what they're missing, feeling like they're the only one who knows something is wrong when everyone else keeps saying the horse is fine.
You are not crazy. You are not imagining it. And you are not alone.
Today — right now — my second book is available worldwide.
EQUINE FUNCTIONAL NUTRITION: Understanding Root Cause to Restore Vitality
18 chapters. Every system in your horse's body. Written so you can finally understand WHY — not just what to do, but why it works, why it matters, and why nobody told you sooner.
From the bestselling author of Managing Muscle Mayhem. Based on over twenty years in the veterinary medical field. Built on clinical work with 1000+ horses across five countries.
This is the book I wish had existed when I started. It's the book that the woman on the phone needed three years and $14,000 ago.

Here's what I'm asking you to do — not for me, but for the horses:
If this post resonates with you, SHARE IT. Not because I need book sales. Because somewhere in your feed, right now, there is a horse owner who is crying in their barn, wondering what they're doing wrong. And this book is the answer nobody has given them yet.
Tag them. Share this. Send it in a DM. Text it to your barn friend. Post it in your favorite horse group.
Every share puts this in front of one more person whose horse might be suffering from a problem that's hiding in the feed bucket.
Let's change that. Starting today. 🐴
