Let's take a look at our year.
2024 had its ups and downs, its highs and lows and looking back:
- I learned that some friends are only for a season, a short season at that. Listening to my intuition is important, the longer I wait to stand firm on business the harder the friendship breakup.
- Even though it wasn't a goal for 2024, I got a job that I am absolutely loving and being in the moment. I'm hoping nothing changes, but even if it's for a season I'm going to enjoy every minute of it.
- I want more time with my son in 2025. He'll be going off to college and I feel I still have so much more to teach him! I want more beach time with my little family and I want more alone time just for me.

In a world that demands so much from you, especially while BIPOC and trying to heal, make sure you are giving yourself the rest you need. Even if you can keep going, or think you don’t need it…REST!!!
When you rest, you are better for yourself and others.
Rest will recharge you! Rest will fill your cup. Rest will soothe you as you heal. Rest is resistance!

Maybe you find some rest and grace in your day for yourself.

The wisdom and power this individual embodied ✨ and yet he was also human. A great example that we do not have to be perfect to be change makers, cycle breakers, and healers for our future. May we take this time not only to honor Dr. King, but to also reflect on the destruction around and in us. May we unite, may we heal, may we advocate, may we develop and construct a new era of true justice and peace.

We always talk about what we are leaving behind at the start of the new year. My favorite thing to do is highlight what went well, and what do I want more of in the new year. So as you look back, what win, what lesson, what gain, what memory do you want to take into 2024? And what do you want more of?
May this new chapter be full of love, joy and of course relaxation!

Quick ways to show yourself some love and change your mood. 5 minutes may not seem like a lot but when when you do these things intentionally, without distractions or multitasking, it adds up!
