It is with profound sadness that we share the unexpected and sudden passing of our beloved medical provider, Steven Lucynski. Steven was not only a dedicated and compassionate healthcare professional but also a cherished friend and colleague. His commitment to our patients and his warm presence will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege to know him.

If this is near and dear to your heart, please reach out to Governor Younkin. He has been very responsive in the past and has assisted our practice when unjust behaviors have occurred.

At our practice, we treat the sickest of sick and the poorest of poor and help give them their lives back, keep them in the community and with their families and children. Dear Governor Younkin,
I am writing to urgently bring to your attention a deeply concerning issue that threatens our ability to provide crucial healthcare services to our community. Our medical malpractice liability company has unjustly refused to renew our coverage due to our provision of medication-assisted treatment for individuals struggling with substance addiction. This decision constitutes egregious discrimination and poses a significant obstacle to the delivery of essential care.

As the proprietor of Manassas Addiction Center LLC, operating under the name Sadler Family Practice, we are the sole clinic in Virginia specializing in the treatment of youth addicted to Fentanyl. Our commitment to addressing this pressing public health crisis is unwavering, yet we now face a critical barrier to our ability to continue providing this vital service.

The denial of our medical malpractice insurance renewal jeopardizes not only our practice but also the well-being of countless individuals in our community who rely on our services. Without this coverage, we are unable to legally operate, leaving vulnerable patients without access to the specialized care they desperately need.

It is imperative that we address this issue swiftly and decisively. Despite our impeccable track record—having had no claims filed against any provider in our practice, no lawsuits, and zero complaints about the care we deliver—we find ourselves unjustly penalized. This denial is not only unfounded but also profoundly unjust.

Governor Younkin, I implore you to intervene on behalf of our clinic and the individuals we serve. We urgently need your assistance to ensure that we can continue our mission of providing compassionate and effective care to those struggling with addiction. Permitting us to obtain medical malpractice insurance is essential to preserving the health and well-being of our community.
