Team Florida joined community partners at the ‘Here to Help’ event, hosted by the Citrus County Sheriff’s Office, to connect neighbors in need with vital services — from hot meals and hygiene supplies to mental health care and substance use services, housing support, pet services, and more. It was an honor to be part of such a powerful day of compassion and connection.

According to the CDC, the U.S. saw a 27% drop in overdose deaths in 2024—the largest single-year decline ever recorded. Opioid-related deaths fell by nearly 30,000, highlighting the life-saving impact of expanded access to treatment, harm reduction strategies, and tools like naloxone.
