Frank, our Maintenance Director, showed what a bear hug really looks like 💙🐻

After donating to St. Jude’s, he received teddy bears and chose to pass that love along by gifting them to our residents.

While handing them out, one resident smiled and said, “I really needed this… and a hug too,” reminding us that sometimes the smallest gestures bring the greatest comfort. ✨

Our Sweet Memories residents celebrated Coffee Month in the sweetest way by whipping up a modified version of tiramisu! ☕🍰

From layering whipped cream to soaking vanilla wafers in rich coffee, every step was filled with smiles, laughter, and delicious anticipation.

All while enjoying various trivia! Did you know coffee is the second most traded commodity in the world, and tiramisu means “pick me up” in Italian?! Perfect for a dessert made with coffee and enjoyed together!

The next theme on our journey is Bucket List Adventures and we're stopping in India first! ✈️

Our residents enjoyed a delicious featuring Indian Fruit Cream. This light and refreshing dessert sparked smiles and great conversation as we explored flavors from India together.

Fun fact: Indian Fruit Cream became especially popular during the British colonial era, blending Indian fruits with European-style cream desserts. 🌍🍨

With the sunny weather we've been having, our residents enjoyed a peaceful scenic drive through the beautiful Manassas National Battlefield Park. 🚐⛅

They took in the rolling fields and historic views and when we got off the bus, it was a relaxing trip filled with crisp air, conversation, and moments to reflect and enjoy the day together.
