Drs. Tod Davis and Amy Carlyle examine key developmental vision areas that may interfere with lear

abilities, visualization, and visual memory. Optometric Vision Therapy:
Office and home procedures prescribed by Drs. Tod Davis and Amy Carlyle to develop vision processing and promote healthy vision. 12 months of treatment is common, but the length of time depends on the vision problems. Lens Therapy:
Specialized glasses prescribed to eliminate discomfort during reading, desk work and computer use. May contain bifocals, prisms,

Vision loss that cannot be corrected by ordinary glasses, contact lenses, medication or surgery is called low vision. If you have low vision, it is important to maximize the vision you have, and Dr. Amy Carlyle can help you do just that. Infant-See Program:
Even if no eye or vision problems are apparent, the American Optometric Association recommends scheduling your baby's first eye assessment at 6 months. First time exam for any child of 1 year or younger is FREE. Speakers Program:
Presentations on vision development for professional in-services and parent groups.

What Is ?

OMST helps the brain learn or relearn multi-sensory filtering (processing). It involves simultaneous application of prescribed frequencies of colored light, vestibular (motion) stimulation, auditory training, somatosensory input, and optometric vision therapy. It is NOT a stand-alone intervention, but rather a powerful adjunct to the overall optometric care of concussed patients and children suffering delays in sensory processing disorders often associated with ADHD, anxiety, or autistic based.

The condition can affect balance, movement, and reading ability.

If double vision affects just one eye, it is monocular. If it affects both eyes, it is binocular. Treatments depend on the cause and type. Call our office today to schedule your appointment!

Dizziness, lightheadedness, balance problems, anxiety, migraines – if these have become symptoms you know all too well, you might be suffering from Vertical Heterophoria (VH), a Binocular Vision Dysfunction caused by a misalignment of your eyes. And it can result from even a very slight misalignment that isn’t immediately noticeable to you or to people looking at you. When you look at the world through misaligned eyes, your body takes corrective measures to help you see clearly and in focus. This automatic reaction strains your eye muscles and leads to a slew of uncomfortable symptoms, including headaches and dizziness.

If you’re staring at a screen right now, your blink rate has probably slowed down. Don't let your eyes strain—give them a break and remember to blink.
