We know everyone's thinking about taco's today, but how about a waffle instead?
Meet Waffles! This sweet, wiggly bundle of joy is always ready to brighten your day. Waffles came into our care as a stray and we estimate she's a young dog around 1-3 years old. She was a little shy at first, but now she greets everyone with lots of tail wags and full body wiggles that are impossible not to smile at. We're all kind of obsessed with her ears that stick straight out to the sides like Yoda. If you're looking for a cheerful pup who couldn't be any cuter, Waffles would love to be your new best friend.

We post photos of stray animals brought to the Center a couple of times each week to help owners find their missing pets. This posting is a courtesy only and we will not answer questions via Facebook about animals pictured here. If you believe your pet is at the Center, please inquire directly by calling (703) 792-6465, emailing animalservices@pwcgov.org or visiting the Center.
Reminder, proof of ownership is required to redeem your pet and you should provide proof of current rabies vaccination at the time of redemption. These pictures should not be considered all-inclusive and if you have lost your pet, you should immediately contact the Center.
Lost pets may be redeemed daily as early as 8AM, including the days the Center is closed. Our hours of operation are:
Monday: CLOSED FOR BUSINESS
Tuesday-Friday: 11AM - 5PM
Saturday: 10AM - 4PM
Sunday: Noon - 4PM

These sweet and playful Great Pyrenees/ cattle dog puppies are available for adoption. They would love to have a place to call home and some new friends to play with. Meet Apollo, a handsome 3-year-old neutered male with a smile to light up a room. This sweet boy was an owner turn-in, and while we don't know if he gets along with other dogs, we can assure you that he is a friend to all humans. Apollo is the epitome of loyalty and affection, always eager to show his love and devotion to those around him. He may be all you need if you seek a furry companion to join you on walks, adventures, or even just cozy nights in. Apollo is an incredible dog with so much love to give and a bright future ahead of him. He is patiently waiting for his new family to discover the joy and companionship he has to offer. Meet Tulip! This beautiful flower was brought into our care as a stray and we estimate she is around 5-7 years old. She has the sweetest smile that's sure to brighten your day. Tulip is a total nature girlie at heart. She loves going for walks and admiring all the sights and scents on the trail. Nothing's better than rolling around in crunchy leaves, according to Tulip. She's past the wild puppy stage and has the perfect balance of calm and playful energy. Based on her interactions with here, Tulip also seems to get along well with other easygoing dogs. We encourage anyone interested in Tulip to bring their resident dog for a meet-and-greet to make sure they'll be great friends. Ask to meet Tulip today and you'll see why we're all so in love with her!
