Who needs to shop at a Mall, when you can get a furry buddy instead? We've got 29 dogs, 37 cats, 2 rabbits, 2 rats, and 1 Guinea Pig waiting to be your new BFFs! And as a bonus, adoption fees are waived today! So, what are you waiting for?? And parking here is a breeze!

The animals below are STRAYS turned into the PWC Animal Services Center between 11/259/2025 - 11/27/2025. We post photos of stray animals brought to the Center a couple of times each week to help owners find their missing pets. This posting is a courtesy only and we will not answer questions via Facebook about animals pictured here. If you believe your pet is at the Center, please inquire directly by calling (703) 792-6465, emailing animalservices@pwcgov.org or visiting the Center.
Reminder, proof of ownership is required to redeem your pet and you should provide proof of current rabies vaccination at the time of redemption. These pictures should not be considered all-inclusive and if you have lost your pet, you should immediately contact the Center.
Lost pets may be redeemed daily as early as 8AM, including the days the Center is closed. Our hours of operation are:
Monday: CLOSED FOR BUSINESS
Tuesday-Friday: 11AM - 5PM
Saturday: 10AM - 4PM
Sunday: Noon - 4PM

This guy has been waiting to find his forever home for nearly 5 MONTHS.... This bouncy, playful husky mix is about 2 years old and has a sweet face that truly couldn’t be any cuter! Finnigan is a fun-loving guy who thrives on activity — whether he’s chasing toys, zooming around the yard, or playing a game of fetch (his favorite!), he’s always on the move. Santa Noel is on his way! Make plans to join us for Pet Photos with Santa on December 7. One day only this year. All pets are welcome as long as they are on leashes or in carriers. Photos will be taken in a secure room. As always, there is no cost for this community event, but donations made to the Prince William SPCA are appreciated.

Location of this year's event is at the Prince William County Animal Services Bureau's Animal Services Center. Be sure to stop in and see their amazing animals available for adoption.

Meet Pharoah, a majestic boy who's looking for his forever kingdom! This 6-year-old gentle giant has a heart of gold and is good with other dogs, making him the perfect companion for adventures and cuddles. With his gentle soul and loving nature, Pharoah will be a loyal friend and a wonderful addition to any family. He can be shy when first meeting new people but warms up after a few kind pets. Though he is large his nature is of a small kind soul. He walks well on leash and would prefer to spend his days lounging on the couch. Could you be the one to offer him a second chance and a kingdom to call his own?

We had a remarkable weekend with a total of 85 pet adoptions from Friday through Sunday. Our dedicated volunteers and staff worked diligently to make this possible. The Cat/Kitten adoption event was a resounding success, resulting in 64 adoptions. We extend our gratitude to Prince William Animal Advocates for their invaluable support.
Don't worry if you missed this event we have another adoption event starting Friday, November 28th. Black Fur-day, doors open at noon, adoption fees are waived on all available pets.
