Constructed in 1975, the Animal Services Center is an open admission facility that houses sick, injured, or lost animals as a place for owners to look for their lost pets. We also take in the County's most dangerous animals and exotics. Once a pet is surrendered to the Center, the pet is examined by our veterinarian, provided with applicable vaccinations, and a behavior evaluation is administered. Homeless pets who are healthy or have treatable ailments, and are not dangerous, are available for adoption. We reserve the right to delete or hide from public view any submissions, posts or messages which contain:
• Vulgar language, whether implied or otherwise stated; including graphic, obscene, explicit, racist or sexist comments
• Personal attacks of any kind
• Abusive, hateful or slanderous comments, whether implied or otherwise stated, regarding any person, ethnicity, religion, sexuality, organization or nation
• Spam
• Comments that suggest, endorse or encourage illegal activity
• Promotion, solicitation or advertisement of particular services, products or political organizations
• Infringement of copyrights or trademarks
• Personally identifiable or sensitive information, including medical information
