At Baker-Post Funeral Home & Cremation Center, we are looking for a caring, compassionate professional to join our family-owned team.
Being a funeral director is more than a profession—it’s a calling. This role blends event planning, counseling, and caregiving, requiring emotional intelligence, attention to detail, and a deep commitment to serving families during life’s most difficult moments.
🔹 What You’ll Do:
• Guide families through funeral arrangements with compassion
• Coordinate and direct meaningful, personalized services
• Oversee preparation and presentation with dignity and care
• Manage documentation and ensure all legal standards are met
🔹 What We’re Looking For:
• Active Virginia Funeral Director license (Embalmer license a plus)
• Degree in Mortuary Science
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to handle sensitive situations with professionalism
• Flexible schedule (evenings/weekends/on-call)
