Our Story

The Lotus and The Light Metaphysical Center is based in Manassas, VA. We offer a range of metaphysical services including Astrology, Reiki, Life Coaching, Hypnosis, Psychic Readings and more. We also offer workshops and classes in Meditation, Reiki, Access Bars, Tarot and a wide variety of metaphysical topics. If you are not in the Virginia area, we offer intuitive readings and classes via phone or Zoom meetings.

The center was created by Uma Alexandra Beepat, a powerful mystic, intuitive and natural healer since her birth. Uma was born in London, England and grew up in the Caribbean and South America before moving to the United States. Her unique life journey has grown her into the strong, powerful force she is today.

“I began my work originally as Lotus Signature Massage in 2009 because I was a massage therapist. Eventually I changed the name to Lotus Wellness Center because I was also certified to offer reflexology sessions, meditation and yoga classes, reiki and reiki classes.

After ten years of successfully running Lotus Wellness Center and making it the leading and largest metaphysical center in the DMV area, I am moving in a new direction. Starting all over again if you will. When most people are trying to get their first business off the ground, I am now on my fourth!
