As we say goodbye to Sami, our beloved studio manager, this week we also want to celebrate her for being such a special part of our studio family!

If you’ve taken a class with us anytime over the last few years chances are you’ve met Sami, and have been greeted by her warm smile and infectious energy. Thank you Sami for being such a dedicated member of our team, you’ve left such a lasting impact on our community, and we’re all going to miss you so much!

New beginings, fresh energy, familiar flow✨

Happy February! We are officially one month into 2026 and our studio is already fuller. It's been great to welcome so many new faces into the studio and we're only getting started! We can't wait to see what the rest of the year holds for all of our students, and there's always still time to begin. Whether that’s on the reformer, mat, or both - come move with us!

June 21st, join us for a yoga offering in support of Safe Space NOVA - a community program supporting local LGBTQIA+ youth.

Center Street Studios teachers and staff stand in support of LGBTQIA+ people at all times but in June - PRIDE Month - we offer this class to bring attention to a worthwhile beneficiary creating change for our community.

Students: You are welcome to make cash donations to Safe Space NOVA by speaking with your teacher, or Sami or Joey.

WAY TO GO JOEY! Our pilates teacher Joey brings the fun on the field and in the studio! Joey is gearing up for his second season as a Washington Commanders Command Force Dancer,. Congratulations to our lovely pilates teacher Dani, who took her final bow as a professional ballet dancer last month. Dani has graced the stage as Princess Aurora in Sleeping Beauty, the Sugarplum Fairy and the Snow Queen in the Nutcracker, among many other notable roles. Her artistic vision has been brought to life by her fellow professional dancers and students alike. Dani isn't done with the stage yet. She continues to support her fellow dancers on the business side of ballet and we hope to see her create more work for ballet audiences to enjoy for years to come.
