Things I’d tell you if you were my client:
🤍 You don’t have to be “sick enough” to deserve support.
🤍 You don’t need to wait until things get worse to get help.
🤍 If food and your body take up this much mental space, that’s reason enough to reach out.
🚫 Restriction isn’t discipline — it’s your nervous system trying to feel safe.
🚫 Rest isn’t laziness — it’s part of healing.
🚫 Eating regularly isn’t “giving up”
— it’s giving your body what it needs to function, think, and
feel.
💛 You’re not weak for struggling.
💛 You’re not broken because recovery feels hard.
💛 You’re not failing if progress looks messy, nonlinear, or slower than you hoped.
🌱 Your body is not the problem.
🌱 Your body has been doing its best to keep you alive in a world that teaches you to shrink,
control, and override your needs.
🌱 We don’t fix bodies in recovery — we learn how to listen to them again.
✨ You don’t need to earn food.
✨ You don’t need to justify hunger.
✨ You don’t need to punish yourself to be worthy of care.
💬 You deserve support before rock bottom.
💬 You deserve help even on your “good” days.
💬 You deserve a life that’s bigger than food rules, guilt, and constant self-monitoring.
If any of this hit close to home, you’re not alone — and you don’t have to do this by yourself.
📌 Save this for the days your ED voice gets loud and reach out to us at the link in our bio if you’re in need of more support.
