May is ALS Awareness Month. ALS or Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis is a progressive disease in which a person’s brain loses connection with their muscles. It’s estimated that out of pocket yearly care expenses can reach upwards of $250,000.

The ALS Association is made up of volunteers who are living with ALS, loved ones, caregivers, advocates, and dedicated staff. Their goal is to improve the lives of those living with ALS and ultimately find a cure.

At Mobius Mobility, we strive to help those facing mobility struggles do more of what they love, and to support organizations looking to solve progressive diseases affecting so many around the world.

Did you know that April is Occupational Therapist’s (OT) Month? At Mobius Mobility, our Assistive Technology Professionals are a mix of both Physical and Occupational Therapists by trade. Our team is dedicated to helping wheelchair user’s find mobility solutions that address their daily challenges.

If you’re an OT attending the American Occupational Therapy Association - AOTA Annual Conference in Anaheim, CA, from April 23 – 28, come find the Mobius Mobility team and say hello! We’d love to meet you.
