Hello everyone!

I am Lauren Millerd, LCSW, and I am happy to announce the opening of my private practice, Just Therapy, LLC in Connecticut.

As a graduate of Smith College School for Social Work, my training is in psychodynamic psychotherapy, which informs my practice - I believe that the therapeutic relationship comes before all else.

I specialize in working with those who are transgender/gender non-conforming, individuals with eating disorders, and complex trauma. I am a trained Internal Family Systems therapist, and working on completing my EMDR certification. I have additional training in DBT, CBT, motivational interviewing, Radically Open DBT, and the Trauma Resiliency Model.

At this time, I am telehealth only, but will provide in office services in several months in the Manchester/South Windsor area. I am private pay at this time, but am in the process of paneling with Husky and Medicare, among others.
