Almost everyone has been touched by 𝐜𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞𝐫 in some way, whether that be a parent, a partner, a friend, a loved one we miss. And with that loss often comes indescribable fear and the quiet question of, “What can I do?”
Thermography is one tool that exists in this space of awareness. It uses infrared imaging to observe temperature patterns in the body, which can reflect changes in circulation and inflammation, sometimes before symptoms are even felt. It offers a radiation free way for some people to monitor physiological changes over time, including those with dense breast tissue or implants who may want additional insight.
On World Cancer Day, we hold space for grief, hope, and the reminder that paying attention to our bodies (in whatever way feels right) is an amazing act of care.
