Due to the impending snow storm, we are going to be CLOSED on Monday January 26th for the safety of our patients, clients and staff!

We will have team members available by phone on Monday, and will reopen with our normal hours on Tuesday January 27th.

Please stay warm and safe, and if your pets love the snow as much as Cabot here, send us some pictures! ❄️

Peppah spent the day with us on Wednesday for surgery, and she brought her cow stuffie with her for emotional support! Here she is before surgery, and then after surgery snuggling with it while she recovered 🩷

We love being able to provide our patients with a little piece of home to help them feel as comfortable as possible while they are in the hospital with us.

JANUARY PET OF THE MONTH 🩷🐾

Ella is a 10 year old mixed breed dog that came to see Dr. Alario for cancer of the eye.
What does Ella love most about NEVO? Mom says she loves Dr. Alario & all of the wonderful vet techs! (the feeling is mutual)
A few other fun facts about Ella!
Her favorite toy is squeakers or her ball, but that much also squeak!
Her favorite place to be is sniffing around outside or snuggles up with the family.
Her favorite activity is going to the beach or for a swim! And as you can see from the photos, having only 1 eye does not stop her from doing what she loves!
Her favorite food or treat is steak or duck.
Mom says: "Ella's perfect day would consist of waking up, having eggs for breakfast, going for a walk, fetching her ball in the lake, taking an afternoon nap in the sun, steak for dinner, and a car ride for ice cream to end the day :)" - that sounds like a perfect day for us too Ella!
And not that we think Ella can do anything naughty, but Mom says that when she's not getting enough attention, she will walk around with one of her human brothers' stuffed animals in her mouth and likes to steal food off their plate when they aren't looking.

Pete Griffon is the cutest little dog that we did cataract surgery on this past month! He always comes to see us sporting his Patriots jersey, which we love.

Come say hi to vet tech Britney and her golden Cabot at All Dogs Gym in Manchester today! This is a fundraiser event for Old Dogs Go To Helen! If you didn’t know Britney sews dog bandanas- so she will have those there with her and be talking about all of the amazing things about NEVO! She would love to see some of our amazing patients and clients today!

How perfect is little miss Nala?! This sweet girl comes to see us for dry eye and keratitis, which is inflammation of her cornea. Both of these conditions are common in our bulldog friends. We were so happy to see that Nala was doing well at her most recent visit, and her medications are working well!

Staff pet(s) of the month! This month we are introducing you to the the pets belonging to our technician Maddy! 🐾

Meet Penny, Odin and Blub-Blub!

Penny is an 8 year old Aussie-Husky mix. She absolutely loves to go on walks, play fetch or swim any chance she can. She is mama's shadow, and a fierce protector of her little human sisters. She is not a fan of any salty snacks, but will steal anything savory or sweet.

Odin is a 4 year old Great Dane. He loves to play or swim hard and sleep harder. If you can't find him, he has most likely snuck off to mom & dad's bed to cuddle under the blankets. His favorite snack is peanut butter, although he's been known to counter surf and steal actual sticks of butter before 😂 He is a very patient gentle giant around his tiny humans, but beware his whip-like tail!!

Blub-blub is our handsome beta fish. He loves to swim around or rest on his live plant in his aquarium and he lives for dinner time!

Morty came in to see us this week, dressed for this hot summer weather in his Hawaiian shirt and rainbow bow tie! He is the picture of perfection and how can you not love that face and those ears?! ☀🩷

Here at NEVO we do all that we can to keep our patients feeling as comfortable as possible during their stay with us.

This is Piggy! A sweet, 15 year old chihuahua who spent the day with us last week so she could have cataract surgery. She is used to being carried around in a pouch, so that is what we did! You can tell she was very comfortable while she waited her turn for surgery!
