CTCW is hosting two main social events this year and we need your help with an RSVP. Please let us know whether you are a "yes" or a "no" and note any food allergies, restrictions, or accommodations. All catering must be ordered through the hotel catering, but we have asked that all food be provided with an ingredient list. If you would like to join us, but must provide your own snacks/beverages, please just let us know that and we are happy to let the hotel know that we have some outside food and beverage coming in due to allergies. Note that alcoholic beverages may NOT be brought into our function rooms. If you bring your own alcohol, that would have to be consumed in your hotel room where you are staying.

There are TWO events to RSVP for: Friday's Opening Reception and Soothsayer's Salon and Saturday's Witching Hour post-ritual gathering.

Please RSVP by 11/4/25
We are asking for RSVPs so that we can best gauge the quantity and types of food and beverages to order. If you miss this date, you will still be able to attend. However, we are using these RSVPs to order food and work around food allergies as best we can.

Friday evening 11/21/25 7:30-9pm in the Promenade: Soothsayer's Salon - Divination at Play
Join us for our opening reception Friday evening after dinner. No money is exchanged. We will have a number of different stations set up with uncommon, fun, unusual, and even quirky divination methods. Playful and serious demos will be available. The person who brings the divination modality will have an opportunity to show the other people at the table how that system works. Attendees will be encouraged to move from table to table to investigate what the table hosts have to offer.
Desserts, soft drinks, tea, and coffee will be served. Friday is a sober-friendly event and alcohol will not be served.
Free admission for Friday and Full-weekend Conference Pass Holders.

Saturday night 11/22 in the Promenade, Middlesex, and Prospect rooms: Witching Hour
The organizers and staff of CTCW have the honor of inviting you to Saturday Night’s main social – The Witching Hour. The social will have a prelude from 9pm-10pm in the Promenade, for those of you not partaking in the ritual. It is our desire to create a comfortable and conversational space for those of you looking to be social, make new friends, and catch up with old ones. We offer light pagan music for good company in a relaxed setting.

At 10:30pm we will enhance the vibe by offering some light snacks and opening a cash bar, if you desire to imbibe adult beverages. With a livelier set of music in a second room, ranging from dark Goth/Pagan classics to “Radio Witchy” music, we hope to entice Ye Revelers to shake your groove thang, two-step on the dance floor, or just tap your feet to the beat. Feel free to dress in your witchy best - ritual attire welcomed, just NOT skyclad!

Light fare, soft drinks, tea, and coffee will be served beginning at 10:30pm
Cash bar available beginning at 10pm

Free admission for Saturday and Full-weekend Conference Pass Holders.

Please RSVP for both events here: https://forms.gle/8GTnUaE4gTDtuMun8
The RSVP is so that we can order food and beverages. You are still welcome to attend or bow out if you change your mind. We appreciate your consideration as we have to commit to catering numbers by 11/4.

Using Crystals in Your Divination Practice
Presenter: Maryalyce Merritt
Time: 9:30 – 10:30 AM Eastern
Do you know that you can use crystals as their own Divination system? Referring to the crystals’ metaphysical properties as well as their position in a spread will tell you quite a bit about yourself or your querent.
In this class, we will discuss how to use crystals as a divinatory tool, how to choose your starter set, how to properly care for, cleanse, and recharge them. We will also discuss organic placement vs using a spread similar to Oracle or Tarot cards, and also how to use a pendulum within the reading.

History of Divination
Presenter: Raven Kaldera
Time: 10:45 – 11:45 AM Eastern
Throughout history, people have used everything from sneezing to burning turtle shells to raindrops on flour to the way mice gnawed cheese to predict the future and uncover the hidden. This class will talk about many of the strange and obscure forms of divination used in the past, as well as some new methods that modern Pagans have come up with in a pinch. Maybe you’ll come away with new techniques to pull out of your pocket!

Reading Lenormand with the Fool’s Dog
Presenter: Sara Mastros (recorded)
Time: 12:30 – 1:30 PM Eastern
[Note: Sara regrets that due to technical issues beyond her control she doesn’t have access to robust enough internet for live Zoom. She is providing us with a pre-recorded video rather than canceling her appearance.]
The Fool’s Dog is a market leading developer of digital tarot apps, but did you know we also make other kinds of cartomancy apps? In today’s very short “show and tell” session, I’ll introduce Lenormand, a non-tarot system of fortune telling with cards that’s easy to learn, but deep enough to spend a lifetime with. People who attend live will be told how to get a code to download a free app.”

Cartomancy Unveiled: Decoding Playing Cards for Instant Insight
Presenter: Mary D'Alba
Time: 1:45 – 2:45 PM Eastern
Discover the art of cartomancy in this engaging 1-hour class, where you’ll learn to interpret a standard 52-card deck for quick and accurate insights. We’ll cover the meanings of each card, focusing on suits and numbers, and introduce simple spreads for daily guidance. Whether you’re seeking clarity on a specific question or looking to enhance your intuitive skills, this class provides practical tools to incorporate playing card divination into your spiritual practice. Join us to unlock the wisdom within the cards and gain confidence in your divinatory abilities.

No Tools No Problem
Presenter: Conrahsarateena
Time: 3:00 – 4:00 PM Eastern
Easy on the go techniques that don’t require the practitioner to carry any divination tools around with them. Use what’s around you or nothing at all. Great for those still in the broom closet or those who can’t afford to fill a whole storage unit with witchy stuff. Hey, we live in interesting times.

Ocean Oracle Seashell Divination
Presenter: Shelley
Michelle Hanson
Time: 4:15 – 5:15 Eastern
“Seashells enable us to gain clarity and gain insight so that we might make better decisions and life choices. They support and guide us , and nudge us along our path to happiness and fulfillment.”
This quote from Seashell Divination reader and Seashell healer, Kate Silberberg, captures the essence of Ocean Oracle Seashell Divination.
Many people are familiar with working with crystals from the mineral kingdom and earth element. Seashells are crystals from the animal kingdom and water element, and contain a multitude of benefits for mind, body and spirit. In this hour seminar, we will cover a few methods for working with our seashell partners, starting with beginner level and progressing to advanced. You will learn how seashells facilitate a conversation with your Higher Self, the wise being within you aligned with your true purpose. Along the way, we will explore their master teachings on a variety of topics. These soul-searching seashell partners grant us the opportunity to gain empowering personal insights offering guidance to help us navigate through life.

Deck the Unseen: Unusual Cards & Unexpected Insight
Presenter: Mary D’Alba
Time: 6:30 – 7:30 PM Eastern
Unlock your intuition with the forgotten, the funky, and the fabulously weird.
Not all divination comes in neat 78-card packages. In this fun and surprising class, we’ll work with unusual decks—yes, those quirky oracles, vintage finds, affirmation cards, art decks, and even homemade pulls you forgot you owned—to spark real insight and channel messages from Spirit.
This is the class for:
Intuitives with a growing collection of “weird decks”
Beginners who want to try card reading without rules
Readers ready to bust out of traditional tarot spreads and have some fun
Anyone curious how even the oddest card can unlock truth
We’ll cover:
How to read ANY card intuitively—even without a guidebook
How to cleanse and “wake up” neglected decks
Tips for mixing systems (tarot + oracle + affirmations = yes!)
3 quick layouts that work with ANY deck
A live group reading using a random “wild card” deck (bring one you love or hate!)
Bring:
Your weirdest deck, your open heart, and maybe even your business card deck—we’re going rogue and finding Spirit in the unexpected.

Divination Without Tarot
Presenter: Gretchen A L Schork
Time: 7:45 – 8:45 PM Eastern
Discussion of how and why of divination will begin the session, leading into techniques that help both the beginner and the untrained psychic. This will give you a firm handle on the creative usefulness of divination, and basic skills to allow use of any divination system you run across.

Divination Improv and Open Forum/Skillshare
Presenter: Open Forum
Time: 9 PM Eastern until attendees’ interest flags
Join us for an interactive discussion to wind up the day. The Divination Improv portion is a crazy idea we had to have someone propose a selection of items from every day life, and those in attendance will try to come up with a method for using them for divination. Suggestions are welcome from the attendees, but please try to keep them reasonably common – examples might include – hand tools or the contents of your silverware drawer, or office supplies.
After we tire of that, there will be open chat where people can ask questions and share experiences.
