Join Librarian Lindsey at Storytime!

Each week we share 2–3 stories along with songs, rhymes, and movement to get little bodies wiggling and little voices quacking, roaring, or singing along.

Storytime often includes hands-on fun like sensory play, or a simple craft to extend the learning.

While our programs are designed with preschoolers in mind, children of all ages (and their grown-ups!) are welcome to join the fun.

Every child will find something to enjoy and learn at Storytime!

Please note: Wednesday and Thursday sessions feature the same stories and activities

Residents and property owners along Anderson Street are invited to a public meeting about the 2026 Anderson Street Improvements Project.

⏰ 6:00–8:00 PM (brief presentation at 6:00 PM, open house to follow)

📍 Manchester Fire Station – Meeting Room, 400 East Main Street

Stop by to learn about:

Project limits and construction phases
Traffic control plans
An overview of the special assessments
Property-specific details (staff will be available for individual questions)

If you can’t make the 6:00 PM presentation, feel free to come anytime before 8:00 PM to talk with City staff and project engineers.

As we get closer to winter weather, here are a few reminders for residents:

🌨️ When snow is forecasted, it’s best to plan ahead and move your vehicle off the street before snow begins to accumulate. Maneuvering snow plows between parked cars is both dangerous and cumbersome.

🌨️ Occasionally, the City must declare Alternate Side Parking, restricting street parking between 10:00 p.m. and 7:00 a.m.

Residents, businesses, and community partners are invited to complete a survey about local disasters as Delaware County updates its Hazard Mitigation Plan, which is used by all cities and schools within the county.

Hazard mitigation is the effort to reduce loss of life and property by lessening the impact of disasters. It is most effective when implemented under a comprehensive, long‑term mitigation plan, according to the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA).
