Reminder:

Public Notice: Right-of-Way Ordinance Enforcement

Per City Code Section 165.28, signs are not permitted within the public right-of-way. This area typically includes the space between the street and the sidewalk or property line.

This applies to all signs — including garage sales, community events, political signs, and more.

All signs must be removed from the right-of-way by October 1, 2025.

Any signs remaining after this date will be removed by the City of Manchester.

Please contact City Hall at 563-927-3636 with any questions.

At last night's council meeting, Officer Chris Fuller and Officer Rich Manning were officially sworn into the Manchester Police Department.
