Mind Body Soul
🌟We’re thrilled to introduce another one of our amazing Behavior Technicians here at Chockstone!🌟
A proud Vermont native and lifelong learner, she brings an incredibly rich and diverse background to our team. After earning her B.A. in Interdisciplinary Studies in 2011—with focuses in business and Spanish—she went on to spend over 12 years studying holistic health, including massage therapy, energy work, and yoga instruction.
Her professional journey has been just as well-rounded: she’s worked in early childhood education as a Pre-K teacher, home health and recovery services, respite and foster care, and as a business owner and long-time special needs respite provider through ARIS for more than 15 years.
Her passion for mental health and the mind-body-soul connection naturally led her to the field of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). She loves how ABA supports growth and positive change in all areas of life—not just for individuals on the autism spectrum.
Now approaching her first year as a BT, she finds deep fulfillment in seeing data-driven progress and daily moments of growth with her clients. She says:
“It’s fun, challenging, and inspiring to see change unfold through data and day-to-day experiences. I love the value of change and goal-setting that this work provides.”
She adds that being part of a compassionate team that practices ABA the right way—with care, dedication, and integrity—makes her proud to call Chockstone home. 💙
✨ We are so happy to have her as part of our team because her holistic perspective, deep compassion, and commitment to lifelong learning perfectly align with Chockstone’s mission of providing empathetic, evidence-based, and person-centered care. Her experience across so many helping professions adds such richness to our work and inspires us all!
Please join us in giving Abby a warm welcome!
