Eston Eldridge, age 83 passed away on Thursday, October 23, 2025 at the Advent Health Manchester. He was born on Sunday, January 11, 1942 in Laurel County, Kentucky to Chester and Ruth (Williams) Eldridge. He was a business man, worked in construction and was a member of Horse Creek Baptist Church.

He is survived by his son: Kevin Eldridge; his grandchildren: Bobby Eston Rutledge, Ashley Rutledge, Reagan Moore and Adam, and Shayley Roberts; his great grandchildren: Harper Jones, Colson, and Madilyn. Also surviving is his brother: Donnie Eldridge and wife Emma and sister-in-law: Ora Eldridge.

He is preceded in death by his parents: Chester and Ruth Eldridge; his wife: Sherry J. Eldridge; one daughter: Teresa Rutledge and one brother: Bobby Eldridge.

A Memorial Service for Eston Eldridge will be conducted on Saturday, November 1, 2025 at 1:00 P. M. at the Robinson Creek Baptist Church in London, Kentucky.

Lisa Ann Wilson, age 56, went to her heavenly home on Sunday, October 26, 2025. She was born on Thursday, May 30, 1969, in Garden City, Michigan, to Billy and Ann Bowling. They then returned to Manchester, Kentucky, during her early childhood, where she completed her high school education. Lisa spent many years caring for her children and those in her community. She was loved by her family and friends and is remembered for her loving personality and vibrant character. She served as a devoted Sunday School teacher at Gray Fork Baptist Church, where she led the youth ministry program for many years.
She leaves to mourn her passing, her loving husband Jeff, as well as her father and
mother, Billy and Ann Bowling. Her caring daughter, Makayla Hayes, and her husband,
Tanner, along with her precious grandsons, Bennett and Mason. Her loving son, Billy,
and his fiancée, Isabelle. Many other family members and friends also survived Lisa.
Viewing services for Lisa Wilson will start at 12:00 pm, followed by funeral services at
2:00 pm on Thursday, October 30, 2025, at the Rominger Funeral Home Chapel. Pastor
David Smith will preside. Burial will take place afterward at Manchester Memorial
Gardens.
In lieu of flowers, financial contributions may be made to the family in memory of Lisa.

Peggy Ann Byrd, age 70, passed away on Friday, October 24, 2025 at the U of L Health Jewish Hospital. She was born on Thursday, July 28, 1955 in Oneida, Kentucky to Earl and Mary (Lunsford) Baker. She worked at Mid-South, was a homemaker and a member of Maulden Baptist Church.

She leaves to mourn her passing her children: Linda Gail Collett (Bobby) of Burning Springs, Jeff Byrd (Lisa) of Manchester, Robbie Byrd (Ashley) of Burning Springs, Nicholas Byrd (Danielle) of Manchester; nine grandchildren: Brittany Anderson, Serena Byrd, Matthew Byrd, Baylen Byrd, Blakely Byrd, Adalynn Byrd, Paisley Byrd, James Allen and Hanna Allen; five great grandchildren: Brynnli Anderson, Emery Angel, Kolton Angel, Gabriel Angel, Cason Allen. Also surviving are six brothers and sisters: Linda Collett, Virginia Collins, Cora Smith, Lorene Dodson, Jim Baker of Manchester and Mildred Blanton of Annville, KY and a host of nephews, nieces, family and friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents: Earl and Mary Baker; her husband: George (Tom) Byrd; one brother: Butch Baker ; one sister: Martha Baker Smith and two grandchildren: Jeffery Byrd and Janet Allen.

Graveside Services for Peggy Byrd will be held on Tuesday, October 28, 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Lower Sadler Cemetery. Brian Collett will be presiding. Burial will follow in the Lower Sadler Cemetery.

The family will receive friends and loved ones on Tuesday after 11:00 AM at the Lower Sadler Cemetery.

The pallbearers will be Jeff Byrd, Robbie Byrd, Nicholas Byrd, Bobby Collett, Chris Collett, Derek Anderson and James Allen.

She leaves to mourn her passing her husband: Ricky Robertson; her son: Tyler Robertson; her special son: Tony Taylor and wife Precious and three grandchildren: Brookelynn, Gunner and Ryder; her special fur baby: Bo. Also surviving are the following brothers and sisters: Louise Sandlin, P. J. Taylor, Lois Weddington, Bertha Johnson, Dennie Taylor, Phyllis Brannen, Tony Taylor and Wanda Hornsby.

Donna Allen, age 68, went to her heavenly home on Wednesday, October 22, 2025. She was born on Thursday, December 20, 1956 in Manchester, KY, to Sheridan and Ida Allen. She was a member of the Lyttleton Baptist Church. Donna spent many years working at White’s Chevrolet and other car dealerships in the area as well as the Clay County Clerk’s Office. She was currently serving as a City Council Member for the City of Manchester and was a member of the Clay County Republican Women’s Club.

She leaves to mourn her passing her loving daughter: Edwina White Blevins and her husband Nick, her precious granddaughters: Taryn Blevins and Brynn Blevins as well as these brothers and sisters: Marjorie Hacker and the late Billy, Agnes Ward and Danny, Jr. Allen and Kaye, Carl Allen and Sharon, Cathy Roy, sister-in-law, Rhonda Allen, and brother-in-law, Skeeter Sams. Donna is also survived by several nieces and nephews and her special friends at the Manchester Heights Apartments.

She is preceded in death by her parents: Sheridan and Ida Allen, Edwina’s father: Eddie White, and her brothers and sisters: Brack Allen, Dorothy McClure, Cecil Allen, Sam Allen, Ben Allen, James Allen, Paul Allen, and Debbie Sams.

Jimmy Darrell Carr, age 65 passed away on Wednesday, October 15, 2025 at the University of Kentucky Medical Center in Lexington, Kentucky. He was born on Tuesday, June 21, 1960 in Oneida, Kentucky to Carl William Carr and Gladys (Smith) Edwards.

He is survived by his wife: Denise (Henson) Carr and these children: Elizabeth Carr, Thomas Mosley, Kellie Henson, Rachel Helton and husband Chris, Jessica Richmond and Derek Jordan, Steven Henson; eight grandchildren and one on the way. Also surviving are these brothers : Jerry Carr and wife Cheryl, Merrill Carr and wife Evelyn, Roy Carr and Everett Carr.

He is preceded in death by his parents: Carl Carr and Gladys Edwards; his brother: Paul Carr and his sister: Mary Goins.

He is survived by many friends, neighbors and loved ones.

Gloria Jean “Jeanie” Roberts, age 80, of Manchester, KY passed away on Friday, October 10, 2025 at the Laurel Creek Health and Rehabilitation Center in Manchester, KY. She was born on Sunday, December 17, 1944, in Cincinnati, Ohio to Alonzo “Stormy” and Bernice Parks Whitis. She was a retired teacher’s aide and a member of the Macedonia Baptist Church.
She leaves to mourn her passing our very good friend and her wonderful companion Harold W. Webb and his family; her children: Robert Wayne (Beverly) Craft, Douglas R. (Lisa) Dobson, Monte (Beatrice) Roberts; these grandchildren: Jared (Kari Grace) Craft, Justin (Melinda) Craft, Carrie (Raleigh) Campbell, Nathan (Marisela) Dobson, Nicholas Dobson and Alisha Brook Roberts; these great grandchildren: Molly, Maddie, Cassie, Garrison, Maggie, Levi, Cooper, Reese, Cody (Megan), Olive, Roman and Dominque (Tacita) and Brooklyn and six great great grandchildren. Mrs. Mildred Hampton, age 102, peacefully went home to be with her Lord on October 7, 2025 at the St. Joseph Hospital in Lexington, KY. She was born Tuesday, July 10, 1923 in Clay County, KY to Steve J. and Polly Craft Brown. She was a member of Zion Baptist Church.
Her favorite past times and hobbies include sharing her life experiences with everyone she came in contact with especially her younger years and years at Berea Foundation School, now known as Berea College. She also enjoyed sewing, quilting, jigsaw puzzles, reading, and sudoku puzzles. She spent much time reading the Bible and she loved spending time with her family. She was known affectionately by family and many others as “Grandmother”.

Lisa Ann Mays, age 57, of Manchester, KY passed away on Friday, October 3, 2025 at her home. She was born on Friday, July 19, 1968, in Manchester, KY to Shirley Don and Ruby Jean (Smith) Reid. She was a member of Bethany Pentecostal Church. She worked at the Cabinet for Health and Family Services, Community Based Services, Family Support as a Family Support Specialist.
She leaves to mourn her passing her husband: Paul Russell Mays; her children: Whitney Dwelly and husband James, Shauntay Roberts and husband Jason, Ayden Sizemore and Trenton Paul Mays; these grandchildren: Prayleigh Dwelly and Peyton Henson. Jeffery Allen Dewayne Sizemore, age 23, of Manchester, KY passed away on Saturday, October 4, 2025. He was born on Tuesday, October 23, 2001 to James and Eva (Harris) Sizemore.

He leaves to mourn his passing his father and mother: James and Eva Sizemore; his grandfather: Willie Sizemore; his baby boy on the way and his fiancée: Bonnie Madden; a special aunt: Ollie Mae Wombles and these nieces and nephews: Evelyn Sizemore, Isaiah Gray, James Gray, Brandon Sizemore, and Rashay Sizemore. Mrs. Lucy S.LeNeave, age 101, passed away peacefully at her home on October 2, 2025. She was born on July 18,1924 to the late Beverly P. (BP) Baker and Lizzie Mae (Goforth) Baker. She was preceded in death by her husband Orby LeNeave,
her sister Florence Baker and brother Wiley Baker and wife Jewel, and son in-law Albert Binder.

Lucy, until her passing, was the oldest member of Manchester Baptist Church, where she faithfully served in many different capacities. Lucy served as Sunday School Secretary, was an active member of Women’s Missionary Union and devoted hours to God’s Closet. Additionally, she volunteered at the Clay County Historical Society and was a lifetime member of the Manchester Order of Eastern Star, Chapter 351, with over 50 years of service.

She leaves to celebrate her life, her son David A. Smith and wife Charlotte, and her daughter Patricia Binder. Her grandchildren: Tammy Gibbs and husband Tim, Jason Binder and wife Kelli and the following great-grandchildren: Chase Gibbs and wife Casey, Brayden Gibbs and wife Whitney , Kristen Hibbard and husband Chandler, Brady Nelson Binder and Brett Ryan Binder. She also leaves three great-great grandchildren: Bentley Carson Gibbs, Luke Reed Gibbs, and Harper Reece Gibbs. Lucy is survived by her brother Leroy Baker and the following nieces and nephews: Robert Baker, Beverly Robinson, Ann Sibert, Mike Baker and their families.

The family would also like to recognize the dedicated caregivers that loved Lucy and gave exceptional care to her.
Stella Davidson, Vickie Bradshaw, Vonda Spurlock, Dora Lee Hacker, Bettie Sue Thompson and the late Anna Sams.

Lucy was a friend to many, an encourager, and so very kind and nurturing. She had a deep love for her family and enjoyed celebrating all occasions with them. One of her favorite Bible verses was Psalm 46:1 God is our refuge and strength and ever present help in trouble.
