Celebrating Rob’s 20 Years of Service!
Rob grew up in Berlin, CT, and graduated from Berlin High School before attending Clarkson University in northern New York, where he studied Information Systems and Business Processes. During college, a neighbor encouraged him to enter EMS, and Rob went on to work as an EMT in both volunteer and commercial roles, advancing to the AEMT-I and AEMT-CC levels.
After graduation, Rob realized an office career wasn’t for him. A visit to the Ambulance Service of Manchester led to him starting new-employee orientation the very next day. He later earned his Connecticut paramedic license in 2007 through Capital Community College Paramedic Program.
While at ASM, Rob pursued his passion for the fire service and was hired by the New Haven Fire Department, where he rose through the ranks as a lieutenant and captain. In February 2024, he was promoted to Battalion Chief and now serves in the West Battalion.
With more than 20 years of dedicated service at ASM, Rob has been an exceptional paramedic and coworker. Thank you, Rob, for your commitment and the outstanding care you’ve provided to the communities you serve!
