We will miss him ❤️

To many, Felix 'Junior' Gardner wasn’t just a friend; he was the legendary 'Voice of the Deerfield Fair.' For over 45 years, Junior shared his gift of gab with us, famously announcing, 'It’s that time of year again, Deerfield Fair, this is Junior Gardner speaking.' A twice-awarded 'Golden Mike' winner and a lifelong Association member, Junior spent 15 years as a director and over a decade as an honorary member. He truly lived for these fairgrounds—always ready with a story, a laugh, and a love for fair food. Though he has passed, his unmistakable voice will echo in our hearts every time 'that time of year' comes around again.

It is not to often that you get to have a mini horse come to visit you inside! Milly is part of the Manchester Police Department. She brought so many smiles to our Residents, and we can't wait for her to come back again!

Ice Fishing 🐠🐟

ICE FISHING! What a great afternoon we had with Steve coming in with all his ice fishing gear. He showed Residents all his supplies and how they work. The exciting part of all of this is that he actually brought in real fish and a fishing rod. The Resident were also able to fish for origami fish with the rod too. Steve made treats that he passed out to everyone. We are so thankful to have him as part of our Mount Carmel family.

What a fun day! The Life Enrichment Staff dressed up with reindeer antlers, and the Residents tried to get them with nerf guns. There were a lot of laughs, from both Residents and Staff!
