Dr. Dave Candy founded Movement 4 Life Physical Therapy in 2017, in St. Louis Missouri with the mission of providing 1-on-1 client-centered physical therapy to be able to give people the time and attention they need to relieve pain & get back to doing the things that are important to them. In late 2018, he recognized that the therapy that he provides goes FAR BEYOND physical therapy - it's WHOLE-PERSON THERAPY - encompassing cognitive, behavioral, psychological, emotional, and spiritual therapy as well as physical therapy. Thus, he re-branded the company to its current name of Movement 4 Life, because that's what we do - we help you MOVE BETTER, FEEL BETTER, SLEEP BETTER, and LIVE BETTER. Dr. Candy has become a sought-out expert in the St. Louis community for helping people overcome chronic, nagging aches and pains that other providers have been unable to solve. Dr. Candy works with women, men, and children but he has a special knowledge and interest in helping women over the age of 40 gain control over nagging aches and pains because he recognized a need in the community to help women during this highly stressful time of transition: changing roles from mother to grandmother while also becoming a caregiver for their own aging parents, changing from worker to retiree, and going through and beyond physical and emotional changes associated with menopause. His knowledge and experience working with women of this age as well as being an excellent, non-judgemental listener allow him to provide his clients with SOLUTIONS TO THE PROBLEMS THAT REALLY MATTER.
