Had a great time at the ribbon cutting and Grand Opening for Raising Cane's of this week! Between the community support including a visit from Mayor Jay Moran, numerous members of the Greater Manchester Chamber of Commerce - GMCC like Webster Bank, William Raveis Real Estate, Mortgage & Insurance, GEICO, MACC Charities, Allez Catering, MARC, Inc. of Manchester and Transforming Hearts PLLC, the turnout was great! We were so happy to see local support of a donation made towards CAST children's theatre too! 🚨 Today we salute our everyday heroes: the firefighters, police officers, EMTs, paramedics, dispatchers and other public-safety personnel who step into danger so the rest of us don’t have to. They are our lifeline when emergencies strike — from fires to accidents to medical crises, their service involves real risks, both physical and emotional.

📆 Stop by CVS Pharmacy located at 1221 Main Street, Manchester, CT 06040 between 10:00 am-2:00 pm to safely dispose of unused or expired medications!

Why it matters:
• Many prescription meds that sit around go unused — and too often they get mis-used, diverted, or even accidentally taken by kids or pets.

• Flushing drugs or just tossing them in the trash isn’t safe — they can get into the water supply or be retrieved by someone.

Go through your medicine cabinet and collect any unused, expired or unwanted prescription meds, making sure to remove or black out any personal information from the bottle labels.
