Arlene, a nurse educator, uplifts colleagues, advances clinical excellence, protects her team, honors patients and families with dignity, and strengthens the heart of Two East every day. Our team is stronger, more knowledgeable and more compassionate because of her leadership. She introduced CNA Skills Day, grew our chemotherapy certified nurses from two to 15, strengthened onboarding for CNAs and nurses, and consistently empowers professional growth among colleagues by sharing information about career-advancing opportunities.

Minerva built a lasting legacy in the Wound Center through expertise and leadership. Her depth of knowledge and willingness to support others is instrumental to maintaining a high standard of care. She intervened when a patient could not secure needed home care services, contacting multiple home care providers and coordinating with the patient's mother to identify solutions. Minerva has also created plans to bridge gaps in care with persistence and compassion that ensured the patient received the support and wound care needed.

Jen is dependable, compassionate, clinically strong and consistently positive, even during the most demanding shifts. She has a natural ability to support those around her, stepping in to help colleagues regardless of their role. Team members often adjust their schedules just to be paired with her, and patients consistently share how comfortable and reassured they feel in her care because she clearly explains treatments, answers questions and makes sure they understand their plan of care.
