For years, the Boy Scouts have helped us start the season, and last week they joined us after dinner to share an array of holiday songs. They even treated us to a few piano selections. The joy in the room was instant, an evening filled with music, children’s laughter, and that warm, familiar feeling that makes this place home.

We are truly grateful for our community partners and volunteers who show up year after year and help create moments our residents look forward to.

Over the weekend, a group of residents from The Courville at Bedford, Carlyle Place enjoyed a special outing to The Rex Theatre to see A Celtic Christmas. The performance was magnificent, filled with beautiful music, festive energy, and the kind of holiday spirit that stays with you long after the final bow.

It was a wonderful way to celebrate the season together and create new memories beyond our walls. Thank you to everyone who helped make this trip possible, and to The Rex Theatre for such a memorable afternoon.

Our 12 Days of Christmas Spirit celebration is in full swing, and each day brings a new surprise theme for residents to enjoy. Today’s spotlight was all about antlers, thanks to our Activities Director, Katie, who made sure everyone in our community could join the fun.

Community connections matter at Aynsley Place. So many of our residents have deep roots in Nashua and the surrounding area, and staying connected to the people and places they love is part of who we are. From the senior center and library to local schools, churches, police, and fire departments, these relationships keep our residents engaged and involved in the community they helped shape.

Last week, residents Fran and Jane joined our Activities Director for a special visit to the Nashua firefighters, delivering homemade cookies as a small thank you for their service and dedication.

Moments like these remind us that community is not just where you live. It is who you care about.

We had a full house of smiles at Aynsley Place thanks to one of our favorite entertainers, Mark, and one of our favorite people, Madison. Mark’s legends program always brings the crowd to life, and Madison made it her mission to get everyone dancing. Mission accomplished.

Aynsley had a little extra sparkle this week thanks to our Activities Director, Katie, who surprised the staff with custom shirts. Residents got a kick out of deciding who belonged on Team Naughty and who made the cut for Team Nice. Katie even tried to get Santa to define naughty so she could pick wisely. The laughter didn’t stop there. Janet happened to stroll by during our photo and immediately chose Team Naughty because, in her words, it looked like they were having more fun.
Moments like these show why Aynsley is such a special place to live and work. There’s a genuine sense of belonging here for both residents and staff, and days like this remind us how lucky we are to be part of it.

Aynsley Place was in full holiday mode this week as residents gathered to trim the tree while Tuesday’s snowstorm put on its own show outside. Our culinary team kept spirits warm with rich cocoa and fresh baked cookies that didn’t last long. Dietary aide Deb and resident Fred even snagged one of the first photos by the newly decorated tree, setting the tone for a cheerful season ahead.

It truly is the most wonderful time of the year at Aynsley Place.
